Oh cool, yeah, go to a state that wants to ban gay people and give tax dollars to mini Hitler. No need to visit states that actually support the LGBT+.

Sidewinder

There's still GAM listeners in shitty red states...

Zachary Z

Can't wait to hear about the Texas live show next.

Annette Edelman

If you guys come to Cleveland I'll make everyone I know buy a ticket!

Annette Edelman

Northeast Ohio is blue and ready for you 💙

Gmork

Fuck. Gut reaction is fuck Florida. Devils Advocate: energize Florida voters. Tell them to get out there and castrate DeSantis. I like Piat and want to think the best of them.

Aurora

Fuck Florida. My vote is for Denver next. For no raisin. (That’s a Futurama reference, not a bad spelling moment. Save the haha’s, she’s a bad speller jokes.)

Jonathan Renderos

Already got my VIP tickets and coloring books. See you all on March 2nd

Jonathan Renderos

Some people of the LGBT+ are currently living in Florida. The GAM crew are heading over here for people like them, not for mini Hitler supporters

Zachary Z

I'd just be nice to see them without having to fly somewhere before eli or Noah kick the bucket in 5 years.

Zachary Z

Yeah, let's bring a bunch of tax dollars down to Florida.

Michael Usocchi

Hey I'm reading a lot of angry reactions to this announcement but, like ...I live in Orlando. I moved here from Italy about 15 years ago, lived in a few places across the US, but came back for my family. Been a PIAT supporter since before GAM and CN we're their own things, and am genuinely SO so excited to finally have an opportunity to meet the gang. Any GAM listener that lives here is not going to be a DeSantis supporter, or a fascist, or any of the walking nightmare-type-humans we are currently stuck suffering as heads of state. I mean-- ffs, I'm part of the largest Florida Pride non-profit and have been actively involved in increasing its reach for the better part of a decade. The resistance down here is tired and fighting an uphill battle that gets harder by the minute, but we are here. We all agree that this is a shit State to be stuck in, currently under the worst leader it has ever suffered (and we had Jeb fucking Bush as governor for like a million years, to put this in perspective), and we would all move out of here if we had the opportunity. But FL is also the current capital of inflation in the US, so most of us don't have the luxury to do that. Most of us are currently, mostly just trying to figure out how to survive the next rent spike (no renters protection in FL so that's a real, constant concern (Orange County did* pass a bill that would cap rent raises to 5% with the help of incredible local politicians (Anna Eskemani comes to mind), but DeSantis' supreme Court found a way to circumnavigate this, despite voters majority, as they have in the past with things like ex-fellons being able to vote again or the minimum wage increasing to $15 immediately, instead of "eventually, before 2025.") What I'm saying is that I appreciate the crew understanding this, and that I'm very grateful bc I don't think it was a decision they made lightly, if that makes sense? If you think about it, save for a couple of guest speaker appearances by Noah and, I think, a special event a few years ago, the full GAM experience has never made it to FL. I don't think that's been by chance.

Honestly, I suspect somebody just wanted to go to disney world in their free time after the show. And hey, at least that will make Ron angry.

Tanya Bernard

This might be the closest the show has ever been to me. I almost have to go. I’m in Jacksonville. Anyone here want to carpool down to Orlando???

Jezebel's Human

Yeah, as a lesbian who can’t afford to leave Florida at the moment, I feel much more supported by the GAM guys coming here than I do by people trying to write off all of us who live in this shithole state.

RG

Orlando itself is a very liberal and LGBT+ friendly area JFYI. GOP has spent tons on bilingual misinformation propaganda that's literally just red scare BS and Gerrymandering to win statewide.

Proud mom of fur babies

I did it, I can't believe I did it! I got the platinum package and I'm finally going to go to a live show...I'm still in disbelief.

Rebecca Oxford

It’s my 60th birthday!!!! (March 1st) I’m so excited! Got our Platinum Tickets already!! Happy Birthday to me!

Taru Tikkanen

It's gonna be a hoot! Those tickets are money well spent.

Proud mom of fur babies

I plan to have the biggest hoot available, I missed the last 2 live shows (1 cause it sold out so fast, and the 2nd because it was on a weekend I'd had plans foe already).

ABagFullofBags

I only leave my house for two things: my job, and GAM live shows. The former is only to facilitate the latter

Podkayne of Fourth Dimensional Mars

I asked Noah back at FREEFLO if they could do a show in Orlando and he told me why it wasn’t feasible. I’m so glad I found a way to make it work! Fuck my budget, I live in Orlando and I’m going!

Someday Sera

I live in the Denver area so...seconded. Especially since I missed reefer madness way back when thanks to a family emergency.

Scot Boeringer

I’m a denizen of Orlando and retired on disability. The only way I’d EVER be able to see a GAM event before I’m ashes and (hopefully) one of my organs hasn’t failed so I can help someone else out…where was I? Oh yeah, is if they came here. And they did, I scraped enough dough for a VIP ticket, i’m ecstatic that they came here, and that’s a hill I’m willing to die on. PiaT forever!

Scot Boeringer

Anyone perchance going to the show & VIP stuff, who lives in/near Hunter’s Creek, & could see their way to giving me a lift? I’d pop for gas, tolls (if necessary) & parking (bonus—handicapped plackard so CLOSER parking!). It’ll be near $100 to Uber round trip & I’d rather defray a fellow GAM fan’s trip costs. I live near Publix and can electric trike to anywhere nearby so you can meet me & get a sense of my non-perviness (disclaimer—might be a bit pervy, but in a strictly consensual way. And not at people I just met. Ewww. ) This is a very long post. I’ll shut up now.
