I'm quickly catching up from being away from the studio so much in August! (Read about it here and here and here.) As a result, there may be a couple of days where I'm sending two Patreon rewards a day to get back to my regular posting schedule. Today is going to be one of those days. You're getting the next Evil Inc update now and I'll be sending LEWDcrate links later this afternoon!

Her problems are about to get worse…

Transcript

Panel 1:

Cassie Cruz stands with her arms crossed, facing her assistant, Jeremy, seated at a desk. She asks, "Any messages for me, Jeremy?"

Jeremy responds, "One, ma'am. Mister Prentice from Justice LTD called..."

Panel 2:

A close-up of Jeremy speaking. Jeremy says, "The city's top superheroes have been called away, and he wants us to monitor the city in their absence."

Panel 3:

Cassie, looking surprised, exclaims, "WITH WHAT?! Our roster is more flimsy than that kid's MOTHMAN fantasy! Tell him no!"

Panel 4:

Jeremy, adjusting his glasses, replies, "The operating agreement we signed stipulates we must. We're contractually OBLIGATED."

Panel 5:

Cassie says, "So... we monitor the city, and if anything BIG happens, they come back to handle it, right?"

Jeremy replies, "I'm told they will be on a different planet. So... no."

Panel 6:

Cassie, with a tense expression, says, "I'm feeling a significant degree of STRESS, Jeremy."

Jeremy, nervously, replies, "I'll get the tarp, ma'am."

Poor Jeremy's stress balls, I mean, well, let's just hope she doesn't squeeze too hard.

Good to have Cassie back in a story arc. The problem with so many good characters is I don't get to see my favorites very often like Giant Tess and a few others

So it’s not just the villains jerking them around. You get the feeling they’re getting set up to fail?

Robert

Like Cassie's bra.
