Sometimes surviving the pages of a classic novel leads straight to a happy ending.

When Angus finds himself trapped in the middle of literary chaos, it takes more than luck to come out unscathed. Thanks to a clever librarian and a heart full of honesty, love proves stronger than even the weight of Hemingway. As pages turn and trust is earned, the real story emerges: a kiss that says it all.

Transcript

Panel 1

Lethal Librarian: Sorry if I scared you. I hid a copy of Ferdinand the Bull inside the novel, but you still had a few pages of Hemingway to live through.

Angus: It didn’t hurt that the book I landed in was all about being true to yourself and avoiding provocation.

Panel 2

Angus (narration): Besides, I knew I was gonna be all right.

Lightning Lady: Angus is the most honest, loyal, trustworthy man I know!

Panel 3

Angus: I knew if I earned your trust, nothing else mattered.

Panel 4

(Angus kisses Lightning Lady as she wraps her arms and legs around him.)

Lethal Librarian: I love a happy ending…

All's well that ends well, and everyone got what was coming to them ❤️😊. Well, except for Prentiss.

Senor Nobody

Page 26b will reveal that aside from learning to "be true to yourself," the rest of the brief time Angus spent in the Hemingway book, he became a heavy drinker who will now move to Key West and spend all day sitting in a bar, using a typewriter to write macho novellas.

Now you're foreshadowing the EiAD ending

I like a man that can read between the lines 😉

Having gotten drunk in that very bar more than a few times I heartily endorse this idea.
