Looking Back on 25 Years (and Decadent Decade)

As we head into the final stretch of the year, I’ve been thinking a lot about milestones. This year marked 25 years of making independent comics — a quarter century of drawing jokes, superheroes, supervillains, and the deeply questionable decisions they make.

It also marked 10 years of Evil Inc After Dark, which still blows my mind. A full decade of turning a side-gig curiosity into one of the most creatively fulfilling (and wonderfully filthy) parts of my career.

I wrote a few thoughts about what those anniversaries mean to me — the good, the weird, the unexpected — and I’ll share a link for anyone who wants to peek behind the curtain. It’s been on my mind as we wrap up the year, and I’m grateful for everyone who’s been along for the ride.
