Evil Inc Shareholders’ Report: Big Things Are Brewing (Patreon)

The end of the macronanos?
Next week in Evil Inc, Dr. Muskiday finally puts his latest invention to work and starts vanquishing the macronanos that have overrun Evil Inc.
And after everything these floating clouds of emotional baggage have put everybody through, I think we can all agree that “vanquishing” is a perfectly reasonable response.
Of course, there is still one employee whose macronano may present a slightly larger problem than anticipated…
Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, in Evil Inc After Dark…
We’re taking a trip back to the previous chapter for a scene involving two people who discover they may have more in common than they realized.
A succubus on her way to Overdrainers Anonymous stops to give directions to a member of Minotaurs Without Mates.
And somewhere during that conversation, an important realization occurs:
Maybe each of their problems has a solution standing right in front of them.
Funny how life works out sometimes.
The next Evil Inc After Dark book is coming to Kickstarter!
This is the big one.
My next Kickstarter will be for Evil Inc After Dark: Hands-On Training — a 120-page, full-color collection that pairs three Evil Inc storylines with their After Dark counterparts.
That means you get the daytime story… and then find out what was happening after everybody clocked out.
I’ve been working on the book, the campaign, the rewards, the artwork, the logistics, and approximately four hundred tiny details that nobody ever thinks about when they say, “Hey, you should do a Kickstarter!”
If you’ve backed one of my previous campaigns, you already know the drill. If you haven’t, this will be an excellent time to jump aboard.
The Kickstarter for the new EiAD graphic novel is in full swing!
🎃 The Halloween Countdown returns!
October is almost here, which means so is my Halloween Countdown!
I’ll be posting a Halloween cartoon every single day, counting down all the way to October 31.
You’ll be able to follow along on:

Thirty-one days. Thirty-one cartoons.
Because apparently at some point I looked at October and thought, “You know what this month needs? A deadline every day.”
🌶️ And introducing… Spicetober!
This year, Spice Rack Comics is getting into the Halloween spirit, too.
We’re hosting our very first drawing challenge: Spicetober!
There’s a different Halloween-themed drawing prompt for every day of October, and everybody is invited to play along. You can do all 31, pick a handful that inspire you, or just jump in whenever the mood strikes.
Use #Spicetober2026 to share your drawings and see what everybody else is creating.
I’m especially looking forward to seeing how wildly different the interpretations get once dozens of cartoonists start attacking the same prompt.
🏆 Off to Baltimore!
This weekend, I’m heading to Baltimore Comic-Con — and, more importantly, the Ringo Awards, where Evil Inc is nominated for Best Humor Webcomic!
I’ll also be spending some time at the Ringo Nominees booth (#2013) on Saturday at 11 a.m., so if you’re going to be at the convention, keep an eye out for me and come say hello.
Getting nominated is already a tremendous honor. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to Saturday night with a tiny bit of nervous anticipation.
Either way, it should be one heck of a weekend.
Coming up…
October is going to be busy in the best possible way: the macronano storyline reaches its climax, Evil Inc After Dark revisits an old favorite, Halloween cartoons start arriving daily, Spicetober makes its debut, and Hands-On Training prepares to step into the spotlight.
But first... Baltimore.
Wish me luck.
