Captain Heroic takes his ideals seriously. Courage. Duty. Decency. Protecting people because it’s the right thing to do. Take a tour of his psyche, and those values are practically built into the architecture.

Countess Influencia seems a little taken aback. She’s getting a look beneath the mask, and the big lug really means all of it. Even his subconscious is wholesome.

Then the TroubAlert lights up, and she gets the rest of the tour.

I had fun giving Cap a moment of sincerity before the broadcast interrupts. His heroic ideals are an essential part of who he is — and so is the woman who can turn his head. His subconscious has apparently given her some prime airtime.
