In a few days, I'll be unveiling the Kickstarter for the new Evil Inc book. This will collect all of the public-facing Evil Inc comics between the relaunch in 2016 through the end of 2017. It will be titled: "Evil Inc: Under New Management." It will be about 100 pages, $20-$25.

But there are a couple contenders for companion books / stretch goals, etc. And I want to gauge your interest.

  • Evil Inc: The Full Monty: This would basically be a reprint of Evil Inc: Under New Management PLUS selections from Evil Inc After Dark. So, every time a public-facing Evil Inc storyline jumped over to After Dark, it would appear in this book as a continuous part of the story. These would include four EiAD storylines (EiAD #9, EiAD #15, EiAD #16, and EiAD #18) and several commissions. And many would have been already featured in the first Evil Inc After Dark book. This would be about 150 pages, $25-$35.
  • Evil Inc: Just the Strips: This would be about 200 pages, $25-$30, and collect all of the strips between the end of Evil Inc Annual Report Vol. 9 and Evil Inc: Under New Management. However, unlike the previous Annual Reports (volumes 1-9), these would not be reformatted into a graphic novel.

So here's what I want to know from you: What would your preference be...

I would like to vote for The Full Monty and Just The Strips

While I voted for "The Full Monty", I would say check your sales on prior non-EiAD books...you might do better just continuing to sell public-facing books, and keeping all EiAD content in separate books. Either that, or have both options available. Alternate idea...if you do just the Ei:UNM book, print a separate book that has a "after Page 5 of Ei:UNM, read strips on pages 3 & 4 of the first Evil Inc After Dark book, and then at the end include those EiAD strips not yet published in book form but are continuations of storylines in Ei:UNM

I (Jim) will have to talk with my better half (Rachel), but my gut reaction is to want separate EI and EIAD print volumes, since not all EIAD stories will fit into TFM volumes.
