Michael

I dread having that conversation with my own mother somewhere down the road. Really poignant.

Mental powers almost always have their dark side; the adding of Alzheimer's is a terrifying twist, really. Knowing Thea, she's got a hidden agenda, but it's clear poor Cassie can't keep this up

God this hits home after watching my mom get trapped in her brain before she passed in April.

Ray Cornwall

When did she find her mom? Is that in a previous strip? My dad passed on dementia a few years ago. He was being taken care of by other members of the family, but in his last year, they couldn't shoulder the burden anymore. He was violent at times, as the dementia ate away at the parts of his brain that ran self-restraint. So I'm very sympathetic to Cassie's situation here.

Brad Guigar

We didn't see her find her mom until today. We've just gotten bits and pieces of her backstory along the way. :)

The Ghost of Otto

I, for one, appreciate the humanist spin on the current story lines. Brad, you have always done a good job doing this which ultimately motivated me to become a patron. Kudos.

Thea is the most evil thing on the table at the moment. Including actual demons.
