No, it's in character for him to run. He's thinking that he's got a chance to make a HUGE amount of money today, AND Desi will have the hots for him. He's just not prepared for all these females to interfere with his immediate profits or later plans for conquest. Once he figures out what happened, he'll take outrageous advantage of it, of course...

I actually *added* dialogue to this page with exactly this issue in mind. For example, when I.D. thinks about his mammoth commission. It's also the reson for the opening sequence in which I.D. gloats to Lightning Lady about what a great day he's in for.

In short... Brian L hit it on the head — on all counts. I.D. is thinking he's got a Sure Thing with the woman he's got a crush on — plus, he's looking at the possibility of a big commission. And of course, when push comes to shove, his penis will do the thinking for him — as it usually has.
