In theory, that's NO choice. You save Dad! She's not his wife or mother of his children or anything like that. However, it's not like we're Vulcans and work off of pure logic.

In practice, it's also no choice, but it really feels like it was and regardless of what you did there's lots of regret and self-blame. Even if everyone survived in the end.
