Prepare to be body-swapped; or at least powers stolen. It's still better than a face-off

Robert McGann

And there's the Evil Overlord List item on telling the hero about the plans - before attempting to dispose of them.

If were a Cynical man I'd guess thats part of the rush is she's becoming unstable in the power department and feels a need to rush things. Or when she arrives the planet has been stripmined and destroyed.

Sten Drescher

Im not sure Thea has thought this through. If every test drone has been destroyed, how does she know that Cap’s body won’t be destroyed as well?

Jeremy Mullin

I’m betting her world’s already been liberated somehow and the people moved on. And none too happy to see Thea again for basically abandoning them.

Senor Nobody

Ah, excellent way to write Cap out of the story so Miss Match can join Desi/Surgat/Iron Dragon in polyamory!

"You sly dog! You caught me 'monologing'!"

It'd be a damn shame if time passes very slowly on THIS side of the portal. She arrives home to find that centuries have past and her people have been wiped out and/or throughly integrated into the invaders' society with no desire for "liberation".

...All this time and this is the plan she came up with? Honestly, kinda disappointed. I mean sure, she got off the wrong foot with causing the accidental death of a hero and Commander being 'hit first, ask questions later type' but she practically wasted a lot of time playing villain, 'storing' powers all for waiting to find a way to return to her dimension and to find a proper body for it? What is the goal with the Werewolves then? Just a distraction for the heroes until she got Cap? Because if dimension travel is that dangerous, the werewolf army cannot travel either. And clearly, she seem to be overestimating her chances on a quite risky/suicidal attempt instead of working with the heroes etc. I am certain there are some details we are not aware of yet but right now...it feels too convoluted of a plan just to get to Cap and get his body somehow to go back to her dimension and just fight off all the aliens alone? Even with Cap's body, we don't know how powerful the aliens are nor their numbers. Or if they are still there. I mean does the time pass the same between dimensions? It might be 1000 years passed for her dimension while she was planning all this.

Robert McGann

I'd wondered why she didn't try to recruit heroes (and villians) ala Seven Samurai to take back her world - especially after she showed she had powers too. Of course, she didn't know then that the passage may have ended up one-way so maybe it's good thing she didn't try that.
