Not sure about dead, but definitely absorbed. It appears the souls find some kind of paradise in Thea. Not sure if the process is reversible, though it wouldn't seem like it would be.

Reminds me a wee bit of "DP7" from Marvel's "New Universe" line back in the 80s. In another universe, Earth has no super powered people until a "White Event" happened (1986, I believe) that randomly gave some people paranormal abilities. A dude started a clinic to help people learn to handle their powers. He had several "paranormals" on the staff, but he himself appeared to be baseline human. Much later it was revealed that he was secretly a paranormal that could copy any paranormal's ability but wield it at 5x strength. He started the clinic to keep paranormals in close proximity to him while he honed his abilities. Eventually, he grew adept enough that distance didn't matter, as long as they were alive on Earth.

It seems so based on Mr Howell being in that psychic realm with Evil Seed after we know Evil Seed was absorbed, and then seeing him in this ensemble. Not sure how it plays into his After Dark hallucination though.

Sticking with my theory that things aren’t gonna play out as Thea thinks they are. Because, seriously, they never do. Especially with plans so crazy drawn out and elaborate. Just ask any James Bond villain.

Yep, she is still as the clueless and naive princess as she is back then. This 'plan' of hers have so many holes that it would get its own After Dark Special to fill them all.
