it is sad, sure. when you aspire to become an artist, it’s always a struggle at first to gain recognition and appreciation for your work, just enough to make a living. the fact that Halley portrays Aerin to be struggling financially reveals the hardship she’s currently facing without her mother in the picture. Was it a decision of her own? Did she fail to find the mother’s long lost daughter that she threw Aerin out of the house? Idk but I’m curious
