Sorry I couldn't give y'all early access on this one — the situation and the conversation around it has been so continuously evolving that I'm very hesitant to sit on anything just in case some new statement or leak comes out.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go take a bath and try really, really hard not to look at the internet for a while.

I'm going to repeat what everyone else has said here. We are all here for you. We ain't going anywhere, no matter what WOTC does. The fact that they claim their new OGL will not effect content creators just proves that they have no concept of the work you do. Just remember, we will be with you no matter what direction you have to take your career.

ChaoticGoodRogue

As they are all saying - we support you. And the RPG community is strong. This chaos, in the end, will lead to a new renaissance.

What is it with January holidays and everything exploding? This situation is a weird mess and I'm sorry you're getting caught up in the middle of it!

Sir Bloom the Third

We can keep putting up the pressure as well, but I do take a break for a little longer if need be. Maybe look at other TTRPGs or the fantasy genre as a whole I've been looking at Open Legend RPG and Pathfinder 2E. This whole situation sucks but doesn't mean you should express you love for the fantasy genre or stop your acting/cosplay content because of WOTC either. I'm looking forward to your future content after your break and keep fighting as much as you can.

Bitter Donald

Enjoy your bath. I'm sorry this is upending your year and everything you've been working on.

Peter Daly

Take your time! Be gentle with yourself. your blend of content is so cool but Im sure it is draining you have my money and engagement regardless of what you do next

TooBlue12

Thank you for making this video, really sucks this all happened during your vacation. I hope you can still enjoy your time and I am sure if you took a bit of a longer vacation no one would blame you. As for future content while I will still always enjoy hearing you talk about dnd and role playing I still love watching your cosplay videos and content. Also if you started playing things like pathfinder and other TTRPGs and gave some advice on those a lot would be interested I am positive! DND seemed like a lot to understand but thanks to your videos I got the hang of it and courage to even DM.

I’m pulling for you, whatever you create,I’m here for it

Antonio G.

Take care of yourself, I feel that ultimately everything will work out. Try to take strength in the fact that your community cares about you.

MsFenriss

The solidarity I am seeing in most of the TTRPG community has felt really good. Thanks for putting in the necessary spoons to help us out like this in the midst of this storm. As other folks have said similarly, my household of four will follow you anywhere for your top notch content.

Valerie Meachum

That is a WHOLE MOOD, and I don’t even have stuff getting flung directly at my digital head. {{{hugs}}} I’m hanging onto my sanity and combating misinformation in my tiny corner, and reminding myself we can each only do what we can do. We’ve seen you busting your ass the last couple weeks, and I do see it making a difference. 💚

Andramada Sterling

I am so sorry you are facing this. I hope this blows over. the last part of this video broke my heart.

Involunteer

The video and your Tweets are what pushed me to finally join your Patreon. It's a tangible expression of support that also helps in a little way to help you through the difficult time.

Dusty

Hey Ginny. Friend here. I think that, given what information you've already given about your career, your life, your taking January off, and your personal insight on the industry, this video was perfect. Know that your fans always have your back, whatever you create. You've fostered a wonderful vibe for your community. Hope you get to relax at least a little for the next few weeks..

Jesse Klein

Hey Ginny, hang in there!

Chris Bain

I’m sorry so many people are being cruel in your YouTube comments. It’s such a rough situation and they’re not making it any easier, but hang in there! You have so many people behind you 💕

Gilles Doyen

Sorry about the stress. We are here for you, because you are YOU.

Jonathan & Megan Pierson

Feel so bad for your stress. Wish I could snap my fingers and make the world a better place (either that or Omega-beam the assholes who add to all our stress into nothingness, depending on my mood). On the plus side, this gives you much license to demand cuddles, ice cream, cookies, and possibly alcohol from your significant human.

CliffEdge

Hey Ginny, I could feel the pain in your voice when you talked about reevaluating your career. I can only speak for myself, but I hope everyone here agrees that if you need to pivot your content because of the OGL I will continue to support you as a content creator. I didn't sign up because you made D&D content. I signed up because I enjoy your style and personality as an creator. No matter what content you create, I'll be along for the ride.

John Frazer

Don't worry about no early access. Us patrons got the extended info in the livestreams. 🙂 I hope Wizards get some common sense and can relieve some anguish for you and other creators.

Michael Dahn

I'm sure this feels like having the floor pulled out from underneath you. I can't pretend to know what it's like, but I feel confident saying that while most of us aren't affected the way you are by it we're Ginny Di fans because what you do is awesome. No matter how it shakes down, what makes your content so much fun is you, and I'm here for that. I'm sure the rest of us are as well!

Marcus Beirne

My heart goes out to you Ginny! This sucks most especially for content creators like yourself who are passionate about D&D and also have their livelihood tied up in this mess. I'm sure we Patreons (Patrons? Patronuses? Us!) will do our best to support you regardless of what WoTC decide to do next.

Thomas Olson

Keep being you, Ginny Di. We got your back <3
