I love this movie and I love Andrew Garfield as Spider Man. For me he is easily the best interpretation of Spider Man that we had in big screen. Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire are amazing too in their own way but for me Andrew stand as the greatest. This movie is not perfect but I love it anyway and I’m so sad that we didn’t get a third one. Andrew would have deserved it. And yes the Peter and Gwen couple is so perfect in those two movie because Andrew and Emma has such incredible chemistry together and the character of Gwen is really well written and enjoyable not like the MJ in the Rami trilogy.

As someone who hasn't read comics, I definitely wasn't prepared for Gwen to die. There was a part earlier in the reaction when Peter was worried about Gwen's safety and you weren't where I just thought about what was coming. But it goes around to show that Gwen's dad was right to worry about Gwen's safety. At the end of the day, everyone makes their own choices, but one has to acknowledge the risk with being connected to a superhero. As stated by others, the reason they didn't make a third movie is because Sony came up with a deal with Marvel Studios (Disney) to introduce Spider-Man to the MCU in Captain America: Civil War. However, I believe Gwen was still going to die and that Mary Jane would have been Peter's love interest. Part of the reason I wanted you to watch Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man movies was because the MCU skips Spider-Man's origin story. He has already been bitten and has been Spider-Man for a few months. This way you now know how he got his powers.
