Billy’s actor is so good like that sauna scene was crazy & I like seeing Steve & the his team going for the lab while Joyce & Hopper are kinda following the same trail but then the kids are dealing with the monster inside Billy

I think with Nancy and Jonathan's argument, they both were too focused on their own situations to pay attention to the other's problems. I think Jonathan didn't really consider how terrible Nancy was being treated since she was a woman. As a guy, he wasn't being treated badly. I don't think we ever saw anyone there being mean to Jonathan. At the same time, Nancy wasn't considering how much Jonathan needed the job. Jonathan's family is poor, his mom his working at a downtown store that doesn't really have any customers, and his father is definitely not providing any money. So Jonathan needs the money for college, but also for his family. Nancy's family is doing better financially, so she doesn't need the money to support herself and her family. At the end of the day, they are teenagers, so they are still a bit young. The fact that they were working together also left them prone to causing problems since disagreements with how to handle their jobs could impact both of their jobs. However, they both needed to understand where the other was coming from. Jonathan should have understood that she was being disrespected by all of the reporters and defended her, and Nancy should have at least apologized for accidentally getting him fired.

I really like your point about them needing to understand each other’s circumstances better. It’s easy to see how Jonathan could have stood up for Nancy, and Nancy could have been more mindful of the importance of the job for Jonathan. The apology would have definitely been a step in the right direction for them to move forward! It would’ve shown that they both cared about each other’s struggles and weren’t just focused on their own.

Billy’s actor was amazing, especially in that sauna scene!
