The kid who plays Malfoy, the blonde bully he is the same guy in the Flash rn who's Barry's new partner at CSI police lol. Love that you started this omg! They did so much work on this movie from all the cast of Goblin people being smaller people, to the sets, make up and the kids I have to imagine had so much fun on set everything is so cool. I love how they showed the kids being good at different things that lead up to the ending challenges like Harminoe got them out of the plants, Harry got the key from being good at flying and seeing, and Ron was playing chess earlier with harry. I love how the teachers treat Harry like they feel more like family to him than his Aunt and uncle he got stuck with

Quidditch Rules: Players: 3 Chasers, 2 Beaters, 1 Keeper, 1 Seeker per team Balls: 1 Quaffle, 2 Bludgers, 1 Golden Snitch The main game is like soccer (football everywhere else). The chasers need to get the ball into the goal to score points. The 3 hoops are the goal, and I think all three of them give 10 points. The main ball is called the Quaffle. The keeper is the goalie, the one that needs to block the other team from scoring. The Beaters are the ones who play with the Bludgers. As you saw when Oliver Wood was explaining Quidditch to Harry, the Bludgers sort of have a mind of their own. The Beaters have bats they use to try to keep the Bludgers away from their own team and will also hit them towards the other team. The seeker's job is to catch the Golden Snitch. The Snitch is worth 150 points. The game ends when a seeker catches the Snitch. So, if Gryffindor has 100 points and Hufflepuff has 50 points but Hufflepuff catches the snitch, Hufflepuff would win with 200 points. Hope this helps!

I was somewhat too old to be interested in the books, but I did go see the movies and loved them. It's a completely immersive world, and it's easy to see why young (and old) people at the time the books were published and the films released turned them into a phenomenon. Think about it this way with Harry living with the Dursleys: you've got a young boy, already famous in the wizarding world and all that entails. But for three months out of the year, he has to live in a non-magical place, with people that don't think highly of him. It gives Harry perspective. And it's that perspective that leads him to defend Ron and Neville, to see the value in Hermionie's knowledge and intellect, to reject Draco's shallowness and prestige, and to not want to be put in the house that supposedly produces bad wizards.

The four houses are each tied to different character traits: Gryffindors value bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry Hufflepuffs value dedication, loyalty, and patience Ravenclaws value wisdom, wit, and learning Slytherins value ambition, cunning, and pride The protection Harry gets from Lily's sacrifice will be explained a bit more in later movies. I will give you more details on that when we get there. A lot of the weird magical things are really just there to add to whimsical, magical feeling of the world. Yes, Harry's aunt is the only family he has left. He doesn't have any other uncles or aunts and his grandparents on both sides of his family have already passed away. For the boats they take to Hogwarts, only first years take the boats to Hogwarts. The other years I'm glad you guys watched the extended version. There's a scene in the next movie's extended version that I really enjoy. One last note; the second movie is the only one with an after credits scene. I'm glad you two enjoyed the movie and can't wait for the next one!

I loved watching you guys! 🪄 It only gets better from here. And about the houses, when the Sorting Hat chooses your Hogwarts house, it’s based on your main traits: Gryffindor for bravery, Slytherin for ambition, Ravenclaw for intelligence, and Hufflepuff for loyalty if I'm not mistaken. You should totally take one of the Harry Potter House tests online to see which house you’d belong to, I believe there are lots of fun ones out there!

Omg I wasn’t even recognizing him!! He looks so different now — that’s so cool! And yesss, the sets are amazing, right?? The amount of detail they put into everything, from the goblins to the moving staircases to the costumes, just wow.

Julie Alfa

Really appreciate you laying it all out, this seriously helped! 🙌

Julie Alfa

Ahhh this is SO helpful, thank you for explaining all this!! I love how each house has its own vibe and values. And omg okay thank you for the heads-up about the after credits scene!

Julie Alfa

Aww thank you!! 🥹 We had so much fun watching — and I love hearing that it only gets better from here!! Can’t wait 👀✨

Yea you’ll enjoy the rest just as much. & there are alot of rules to remember but mainly the main reason Harry has to live with his aunt & uncle ( this is never explained in the movies btw) But you remember how they mentioned Harry’s mom, & then Dumbledoor said it was his moms love that saved him ? He wasn’t lying literally in his mom’s blood , when she died it put a protective spell on Harry. & since Harry’s mom & the aunt are related he’s being protected unconsciously. Dumbledoor also put a spell on the house so everytime Harry goes back there each summer it literally protects him from Voldermort & his followers can’t find him in the human world.

I really like the perspective you brought about why Harry is the way he is! It makes a lot of sense that living with his uncle, aunt and cousin helped shape his humility and empathy. But still, even though it serves a purpose in his story, I can’t help but hate how badly they treat him, he definitely didn’t deserve that.

Malfoy is mean cause he knows he's gonna have to share a lab with the Flash

My dad made a lot of the wands and plenty of other props for these movies
