We knew things were getting darker since the 4th movie… but THIS?? 😱Losing characters we love already hurt, but Dumbledore?! We never imagined THAT would happen. And Snape?? Come on… we really felt like we could trust him, and now we’re just sitting here like WHAT IS EVEN COMING NEXT?!

We have NO idea where this story is heading, but this movie left us SHOOK for real.

Loved your reaction! Yes it was definitely a HUGE surprise when Dumbledore died. I remember reading the books and dropping it in shock when I read that Snape killed him! So the reason Snape calls himself the Half-Blood Prince as a nickname back in his Hogwarts days is because he is half-blood (mom was a witch, dad was a muggle) and his mom's name was Eileen Prince. Ultimately he was a genius at potions and even great at creating his own spells (like the Sectumsempra spell Harry ended up using on Draco). If Harry had known it was Snape's old school book that was helping him all year, I bet he wouldn't have picked it up from that shelf lol. But get ready for the next two movies as the big finale, you guys are in for a ride!

Voldemort chose Draco to kill Dumbledore as punishment for his dad losing the prophecy in the last film. He hoped Dumbledore would kill Draco or he would kill him for failing but he never had faith Draco would succeed

It was crazy seeing Dumbledoor die now there's really like no hope left what is Harry and his friends gonna do they need more help than just them! Can't wait for the next 2 movies its insane, I'm glad Hagrid ain't dead if he died I'd of lost it its already sad enough. Draco may be a bully but he is still a kid at the end of the day he's being forced into this whole thing cause his mom and dad are pressured by Voldermort to do work after they failed the last movie

Sorry for the long comment, but I'm hoping this can help answer a few questions you might have or give you a bit more details on things. Dumbledore was around 115 in this movie. In case no one has mentioned it, these movies take place in the 1990's, with the first one starting in the summer of 1991 and each movie taking place over a year. So Dumbledore was born in 1881. Bellatrix, the Death Eater who killed Sirius, is Sirius' cousin and Draco's aunt. She is also one of the Death Eaters who tortured Neville's parents. Neville's parents are still alive, but they are no longer mentally there and live in the wizarding hospital. Think similar to Eleven's mom from Stranger Things, but with no upside down to communicate. I think they did a poor job of casting both young Tom Riddles. In the books, he's more like the one from Chamber of Secrets. He has a charming nature and is good at appearing innocent. The kids they cast in this one immediately give off evil vibes. All the staff loved Tom. No one suspected that he was evil except Dumbledore. If you recall, in when he frames Hagrid for opening the Chamber of Secrets, he says Dumbledore is the only one who was suspicious of him. In the Chamber of Secrets, Tom Riddle does tell Harry that his father was a Muggle. It's part of the reason he changes his name to Voldemort, since he was named after his father. So yes, Voldemort is a half-blood. His mother was a witch who is a distant descendant of Salazar Slytherin. I think the director for these last movies made the romance in them very awkward. And not the adorable kind of awkward, the hard to watch kind of awkward. It's one of the things that I think makes it even harder for people to see Harry and Ginny being in a relationship. In the books, it also seems to come out of nowhere, but I don't think that that's completely inaccurate from some high school crushes in real life. Harry's crush on Ginny I think comes from two things. One, Harry is no longer in a relationship or interested in Cho and two, he spends most of the summer after his break up with Cho at the Weasleys, where he spends a lot of time around Ginny. The guy who attacked the Weasley's house with Bellatrix is Fenrir Greyback. He's the werewolf who bit Lupin as a child and turned him into a werewolf. About the Room of Requirement, the room transforms based on what you need it for. In the fifth movie, they need a hidden place to practice, so that's what it looked like for them. In this movie, Harry needed a room to hide the book, so that's what it turned into. This specific version of the Room of Requirement is called the Room of Hidden Things and that's where the vanishing cabinet Draco was working on was hidden. So, if you really needed to use the bathroom, it would turn into a bathroom. If you really needed a place to sleep, it would probably turn into a bedroom. If you really need a place to study, it might turn into a sort of library, with useful books. The way the killing curse works, it does make deaths feel pretty sudden, but it is indeed a death. Avada Kedavra is an automatic kill, so yes, unfortunately Dumbledore is dead, Sirius is dead, and Cedric is dead. I would also like to clarify something on the horcruxes since it's something that confuses most people. The implication from the memory is that Voldemort split his soul into seven pieces. That includes the one inside him, so that means six horcruxes for the other six pieces.

British school sports are a different level, at 15 I broke my collarbone and punctured a lung in a game of rugby. I wasn't even the most injured on our team.
