The end of a journey. The end of a story that changed us.Watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 feels unreal, because it means saying goodbye to a world that became part of our lives in the most special way.

Being introduced to the Harry Potter universe through this channel, with you guys and with my beloved sister, was truly a life experience. From the very first movie, the house test, creating theories, getting emotional, getting shocked, getting attached… everything was special.

This franchise didn’t just entertain us, it welcomed us. It made us feel like we belonged. And seeing how close this world became not only to us, but also to so many of you who joined us along the way… that is something we will never forget.

Harry Potter will forever be one of the most important journeys we’ve ever shared on this channel.

The ending is beautiful, powerful, and exactly what this story deserved. We're heartbroken that it’s over… but so grateful that we got to live this experience with all of you. Thank you for being part of this magic with us. ⚡

What a wonderful reaction to the last movie! I am glad you guys enjoyed the journey! You were very right about Mother's Love being a huge theme in Harry Potter, whether its Lily Potter, Narcissa Malfoy, or Molly Weasley, a mother's love and love in general has the power to stop evil. And yes the books are amazing and has LOADS of wonderful scenes and events that they couldn't show in the movies at all unfortunately. Also definitely check out the 20th Anniversary Reunion Special as its the best way to close out the series :)

I'm a bit late, but here is my additional info for this movie: The polyjuice potion does change their voice in the books, but in the movies they have to mimic the voice of the person they change into. They probably did this because they thought kids would get confused. I'm pretty sure the Ministry (controlled by Voldemort) made it mandatory for students to go to school. Since students are automatically accepted to school, they have a list of kids that are supposed to go to school, so they can hunt down anyone who doesn't show up. If you decided to stop following Voldemort, he wouldn't kill you. He would use the Cruciatus Curse and torture you over and over again. Alright, I'm going to address the controversial character that consistently divides fans: Snape. The movies especially have led many to thinking Snape is super great and forgiving him for all of his sins. But he is a morally grey character, who has still done some bad stuff and is not really a great person. Here's a reminder of a few points, plus some from the books: Remember, Snape was a Death Eater. It's not as clear in the movies, but the reason he betrays Voldemort is because he found out he was going to go after Lily. This implies he didn't stop being a Death Eater because he disagreed with Voldemort. By the way, Snape is the one who tells Voldemort about the prophecy, so it is partially his fault Lily dies. People also tend to forget about the way Snape treated students and Harry. Snape was particularly mean to Harry for the six years he taught him, all because he reminded him of his father. Even if James was a bully, that doesn't excuse an adult taking it out on a child. But even besides Harry, he bullied other students as well. The movies show a few times, but in the books he also bullies Hermione and Neville regularly. None of this was pretend; he was mean to these students because he was a mean person. This last point might be for interpretation, but this is at least how I see it. When Dumbledore asks Snape if he's grown to care for Harry and Snape answers by showing his patronus matches Lily's, I take it as a no. I don't think he's grown to care for Harry. He still cares about Lily, and Harry is simply all that's left of her. So I don't think he did all of this for Harry, who he regularly bullied and stated how he despised him. He did all of this for Lily. To sum up, Snape's been on the good guy side for a while, but that doesn't automatically make him a good person. Don't forget about the terrible things he's done and the way he's treated students. Helping the good guys doesn't excuse this behavior. They gloss over it a bit in the movie, but yes Lupin and Tonks had a son, Teddy, who was born a month or two before his parents died. They made Harry his godfather. I want to clarify this, and it's not your fault for misunderstanding, since almost every reactor I've seen has been confused by this. The Resurrection Stone does not bring people back to life. It has the power to "recall loved ones from the grave". What it does is bring them back in spirit, but they are not actually alive. Harry could not use it to bring himself back to life. If Ginny used it, she might recall Harry's spirit, but he would still be dead. Since they didn't explain in the movies, I'll explain here. The reason Harry was actually able to come to life. When Peter Pettigrew made that potion thing that brought Voldemort back to life in the 4th movie, they used Harry's blood. When Harry told Dumbledore about this, he realized that there was a way for Harry to survive. Harry's blood in Voldemort tied Harry to the land of the living. But in order for it work, Harry had to genuinely sacrifice himself. It wouldn't work if Harry died in battle or if he knew there was a chance for him to come back. So Dumbledore had to set it up this way so that Harry could survive Voldemort killing him. Harry breaking the Elder Wand doesn't happen in the books, but I like this way better. In the books, he just buries it with Dumbledore again. Breaking the wand is better, because it keeps the power away from anyone else. The Elder Wand changes masters way too easily. Harry just wrestle Draco's wand away from his hand and suddenly becomes master of the Elder Wand? Anyone can easily catch Harry off guard, disarm him, and suddenly they are the master of the Elder Wand. This way he isn't leaving the opportunity for someone else to take that power. Just to clarify one more time, Snape wasn't pretending to hate Harry. He hated Harry, because he reminded him of James. He protected him because he was Lily's son, but that didn't stop him from hating Harry. Yes, there are so many details in the books that get left out. I definitely recommend reading them. As for another couple things in this universe to check out, you can watch the Fantastic Beasts movies. They only made 3 out of 5 of them because they weren't doing too well in the box office and were getting mixed reviews. They definitely have their problems, but I would still recommend you watch them and I would still watch your reactions to them. The other thing to look forward to is the reboot they are making. They are making the books into a TV show, which should hopefully have a lot more of the details from the books that got left out. It's currently scheduled to come out next year, so that might be something you can react to in the future.

Just to put this in a separate comment, you should react to the Fantastic Beasts movies!
