This show is already so fun and interesting! We’re really getting into the world and can’t wait to see how the story and characters develop. Definitely excited for more Buffy!

A little fun fact the creator of the show wanted to include Jesse in the opening credits so that when he was killed off the audience would be surprised that they killed off a main character but unfortunately they couldn't afford to do that for the pilot. Also what the show was trying to say that Jesse is just like the vampire who killed him now, that the Jesse they knew was gone. Buffy vampires are demons who assume human form, but their original human personality is no longer present. In TVD, they are humans whose personalities and feelings are amplified, making them closer to the real people who became vampires. Giles actually explains it in this episode. When a human is ignited, their soul leaves, and a demon takes up residence in their body. He describes vampires as corpses animated by these demons, who consume blood to survive. The vampire lore in both shows differs in that one depicts them as demonic creatures, but the other retains some human traits.

I really love how they made the vampires look in this 90's shows/ movies hit different. There's some good 70, 80 and 90's movies you guys would like

The Bronze allow teenagers under the drinking age but does not serve them alcohol. When someone is made a vampire in Buffy they die, their soul leave and is replaced with a demon that remember the human's life.
