Watching Spider-Man 2 (2004) with my sister for her FIRST time was EVERYTHING 😭🕷️

First of all… she is FINALLY convinced that Mary Jane is toxic 😂 I’ve been saying this!!

But what surprised me the most is how much she LOVED Doctor Octopus in this one, honestly, same, he’s such an amazing villain.

This is actually my favorite Spider-Man movie, so I was really excited to watch it with her, and I’m so happy she enjoyed it just as much as I did ❤️

Such a fun experience reacting together and seeing her thoughts change throughout the movie!

I think MJ character is the only thing that ruins this movie for me otherwise i would consider this to be a masterpiece. Spiderman 2 is still one of the best superhero films ever and the subway fight is also considered to be one of the best fights of all time. I’m mad that they ruin the character MJ in this trilogy. Now I wonder how Rachel feels about Spiderman 3 because even though it is the weakest Spiderman film imo I thought it was a fun movie.

If there is a hell for Julie, it's having to watch a constant loop of the Peter/MJ "romance" for eternity. I'm hoping you're guiding your sister through the entire Marvel ride since you now know how these movies pay off in the MCU later. That'll be fun.

I will say in 90’s Spider-Man animated series Peter does speak his mind a lot 😂he does get angry at people. I can see her liking Gwen in the Amazing Spiderman movies more. I always felt Spider-Man & Daredevil are the most relatable heroes, there all just trying to balance their lives while also being heroes in dangerous situations. Love this movie such a fun trip seeing your sister watch it ^^ I can see you both liking Hulk 2003 movie it goes into his trauma backstory more then the other movies do. Punisher 2004 movie is also worth watching ^^ there’s an extended version of that & Daredevil movie

Same 😭 I’m not a big MJ fan either, glad Rachel’s opening her eyes lol but this is still my favorite of the trilogy, I LOVE this movie. I think Rachel’s gonna have fun with Spider-Man 3, she’s about to experience Peter’s dark side and I think she’s gonna have fun with it!!

Yess I agree! I can definitely see her liking Gwen more and Daredevil too! My plan is to take her through all my favorite hero movies, it’s gonna be a fun journey haha
