It’s good to be back with more Pirates of the Caribbean!! 🏴‍☠️

Dead Man’s Chest was honestly even better than the first movie for us. Seeing all these characters back together again was so much fun, and this sequel had SO many crazy plots, twists, and intense moments from beginning to end.

Davy Jones and his crew looked INSANE 😭 The makeup/CGI was absolutely crazy and still looked so awesome.

And that finale?! 😭 We were completely shocked. Now we NEED to watch the next movie ASAP!!

We hope you enjoy our reaction ❤️

I'm glad you enjoyed the movie! I hope things are going well with Rachel! The actor who plays Davy Jones was in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 1! He played the Minister at the very beginning of the movie and is the one who reads Albus Dumbledore's will. If you remember from the first movie, Jack has a 'P' branded onto his arm. When Lord Cutler Beckett says he knows Jack and that they each left a mark on the other, he is holding a branding iron with the letter 'P'. It is implied that he is the one who placed that mark on Jack's arm. Now that you've seen this movie, I can clarify the situation with Will's father. Bootstrap was part of Jack's crew on the Black Pearl, and participated in the mutiny against Jack. He is one of the pirates that gets cursed from grabbing the Aztec treasure. Once they realize they're cursed, the pirates try to figure out how they can break the curse. Bootstrap says that they deserved to be cursed, so Barbossa has Bootstrap strapped to a cannon and dropped to the bottom of the ocean. Since he is still cursed, he can't die, but he can feel the pressure of the ocean on him. He likely spends years trapped on the bottom of the ocean before Davy Jones offers to free him as long he serves 100 years as part of Davy Jones' crew. Can't wait for the next Pirates movie: At World's End. The third movie is definitely a continuation of this movie. There are a total of 5 pirates movies as of now. The fourth and fifth one are less popular, but I wouldn't mind seeing reactions to them!

Such a good great movie I love how everyone is betraying one another like least Will and Elizabeth have the same goal of freeing each other but Elizabeth really went all out tricking Jack the way she did. I can't fault her it was a smart move to save everybody else but now Barbosa is the captain again ! ugh haha

I still get hyped from Barbossa strolling in at the end, finally enjoying a apple.

WOW, thanks for all the explanations!! 😊 It's impossible to recognize him from Harry Potter, I would have never guessed that was the same actor! Even his voice sounds completely different. What an actor! The makeup/CGI for Davy Jones is absolutely insane too, he looks incredible.
