🎟️ Our very first Movie Ticket Pick is here: Vertigo!

Thank you so much, William Hill, your choice completely surprised us! This is also the oldest movie we've ever watched, and wow... what an experience.

We went into this movie knowing nothing, so we had no idea what to expect. At first, we were completely confused and trying to figure out what was happening. The movie gaslighted us so hard that we genuinely believed Madeleine was possessed, losing her mind, or something supernatural was going on.

But then... EVERYTHING WAS A PLOT?! 🤯

Seriously, WHAT?! The twists had us questioning everything we thought we knew. Just when we thought we understood the story, it pulled the rug right out from under us. And that ending... we're still shook.

Nothing could have prepared us for this movie. What a wild ride, and what an incredible first Movie Ticket Pick! 🎬🔥

Quick note: Sorry about the portuguese subtitles! We rented the movie on YouTube, and for some reason we weren't given the option to turn them off. It might be something related to our country or region. We know it can be a little distracting, so apologies for that, and thank you for understanding!🙏

I'm glad both of you enjoyed it! I always like introducing older films to people since many of them are indeed classics. The big plot twist completely blew my mind the first time I saw it and it obviously had the same effect on you. Alfred Hitchcock directed so many great films but this one has always been my favorite by him. Thank you for watching the movie!

Very cool to see you guys watch this movie. When I was a kid, I just happened to catch Hitchcock's 'Rear Window' on one night and was captivated by it. I would have my father rent it for me every weekend, and I'm sure he was confused why his kid was so interested in a film from the 1950s. It's still in my top ten favorite movies. Alfred Hitchcock has an amazing filmography if you choose to explore deeper. Also, a word of praise for Bernard Herrmann's score. He composed music for several Hitchcock films, and this one and the score he did for Hitchcock's 'Psycho' are among his very best. My personal favorite is the score he did for the film 'Taxi Driver.' He was brilliant. I hope I can take part in the movie ticket feature in the future. This is a cool idea.

Fun fact: Kim Novak was twenty-FIVE. :D

You can hear echoes of some of "Vertigo"'s sadder notes in "Taxi Driver"

Thanks so much for the request! This movie was nothing like we expected, and we absolutely loved it. The big plot twist completely shocked us, and the ending was crazy too! What's even more amazing is that this is the oldest movie we've ever watched, and it still managed to keep us hooked the entire time. Thanks for introducing us to it!
