WOW. This might be our favorite so far, was such an epic experience from beginning to end. We loved how much pirate lore and world-building was introduced here, it made the story feel even bigger and more fascinating than before. There were so many different plots and characters moving at once, but somehow it all came together in a really interesting way.

And that ending... wow. We definitely didn't see that coming. It felt bittersweet or maybe even just bitter and it left us with so many emotions. Some of the character moments hit much harder than we expected.

Once again, this franchise delivered so many unforgettable scenes, incredible battles, and iconic Jack Sparrow moments. This series has been such a great surprise for us, and after this one, we're more excited than ever to continue the journey! ⚓🏴‍☠️✨

OMG, now that you mention it, that's so true! WHAT?? That's crazy! We really like her character, but damn, she might have the deadliest kiss in the movie 😂

I gotta say I really love Barbosa seeing how him and Jack differ as captains between them & Davy Jones like pirates really wild. Like this plot was wild & Calypso & Davy Jones story I love like we don’t get everything but they make you feel how much history is between em both

I don't know if I forgot to mention in the last reaction, but Will's father is played by the actor who plays Dr. Erik Selvig in Thor (the guy who works with Jane)! Here's my summary of what happened between Davy Jones and Calypso: Back when Calypso was free, she was able to take on multiple forms, including that of a human. At some point, Calypso and Davy Jones fell in love. Calypso placed Davy Jones in charge of taking those who died at sea to the other side. He would only be able to come ashore once every ten years, but he would be immortal, like her. Davy Jones did the job for ten years. After the first 10 years, he showed up to their meeting place, but Calypso did not. Enraged by her absence he stopped doing the job and showed the first Brethren Court how to imprison her, as long as they imprisoned her forever. Since they stopped doing the job, Davy Jones and his crew became "fish people". Fast forward to when they release Calypso, Will asks her who was the one who helped the Brethren Court imprison her and she asks him to name him. I've come to believe that Calypso did not know Davy Jones was the one that told the Brethren Court how to imprison her. After Calypso hears this, she says some sort of incantation and turns into a bunch of crabs. She does however cause the storm, rain, maelstrom that the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman fight in. It at least game the crew of the Black Pearl a fair shot at the fight, since the Flying Dutchman has those cannons at the front that would have done serious damage if they had sailed directly towards each other. I hope you watch the next two Pirates movies. They're not as popular as the first three, but I still think you'll enjoy them.
