Episode 16 really surprised us. We never expected Katara to finally confront the man who killed her mother, and seeing Zuko helping her through that journey made the episode so emotional and heartbreaking.

Then episode 17 had us laughing the entire time! The Ember Island Players might be one of the funniest episodes we've seen, but underneath all the jokes, Aang's impossible decision about the Fire Lord has us SO curious to see how everything is going to play out. The finale is getting closer!!

Episode 16 is definitely emotionally intense. In my opinion, Katara would have killed Yon Rha if he hadn't retired and been on the ship they attacked first. I think after bloodbending the current leader of the Souther Raiders, she was able to release some of her anger. That allowed for her to be able to hold herself back when she actually came face to face with Yon Rha.

Episode 17 was a fun recap parody in the buildup for the finale. As for how the play writer knew about everything, the mentioned a few sources like the pirates, the cabbage merchant, and the singing nomads, but my theory is that they also talked with Zuko's crew from the first season, to get a lot of info from the first season.
