Hey guys! This recommendation has been on my list for a while, and I finally got around to watching it today!

I honestly had such a great time with Batman (1989). I wasn't really sure what to expect going into an older movie like this, but it was definitely way more incredible than I expected. The acting, the script, the atmosphere, and of course the Batmobile were all freaking awesome! 🦇🔥

Hope you guys enjoy watching my reaction as much as I enjoyed making it! ❤️

Pretty sure this movie is what got the Batman the animated series started with its success

Danny Elfman the same guy who did the music for the early 2000's Spider-Man films also composed the music for this film and its sequel Batman Returns^^ I'm glad I saw the Shining to know how crazy good the actor is cause he did amazing as Joker just wow, Tim Burton's work is great he also did Nightmare Before Christmas its stop motion film. The animated series came out after this film and there is a 60's Batman film which is so funny you'd love it, its with Adam West who did play Batman at that time he had his own show, he voiced the Grey ghost in the animated series episode you love, and he voices one of the characters in family Guy show

William Hill

I'm glad you enjoyed this. It's impossible to overstate how massive this movie was when it first came out. Some aspects of it haven't aged that well for me but overall I still really like it. I actually prefer the sequel Batman Returns. I hope you end up checking that one out because Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman is my all-time favorite performance in a comic book movie.

this was before the animated series but not long before

yes-jack nicholson who is the joker- is the bad guy from the shining.

Steven Braun

This is for me also the best Batman (Michael Keaton). I grew up with this Batman and the animated Series of Batman (Spiderman and X-men) The animated series of Batman is one of my favourites. I like Spiderman and X-men probably more, but it certainly one of the best. Although I love this movie I like Batman Returns even more. So I hope you will watch that movie too. And Batman Forever and maybe also Batman & Robin. The last two films are not as good as the first two, but are still good enough to watch.

Im glad you enjoyed it. Yes this film inspired how the look of Gotham going forward and the art for the animated series. Even the Arkham games draw inspiration from it.
