The "new" planet of the apes movies: Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) It also doesn't hurt to check out the original first: Planet of the Apes (1968)

Matthew J Rose

I would love for you and Rachael to do Invincible. Its a superhero animated series. Very polular and a lot of reactors are doing it. Since you two have done Hunger Games, you should do the Maze Runner trilogy. It's almost like Hunger Games.

Paul Wilson

I would love for you both to react to both of the Monty Python movies (Holy Grail & Life Of Brian), The Rush Hour Trilogy, Police Story, Rumble In The Bronx Jackie Chan’s absolute classics and The Rocky Horror Picture Show

BJ Stephens

A few TV series I'd recommend highly are Chuck, Fringe, and Leverage.

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

First generation Star Trek, The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, is really taking off with reactors right now. Any combination or even just any one of the above would be a *commitment* but really worth considering doing, even if at the end of the day this is just an me stumping for one of my favourite series/universes lol If you're really enjoying Buffy then y'all should consider Firefly and Dollhouse which both feature some of the same writers.

2006 onward James Bond movies, Agents of Shield or 1992 X Men animated series would be fun to see you do together. It’d give Rachel & you a better understanding of the X Men characters especially with you watching X Men 97 now & the 90’s Spiderman since they all are in the same universe

michael watt

i saw someone say x-files i absolute adore that show as one of my all time favorites but it might take you guys a lobg time. if you are lookibg for a shorter series, i recommend "the boroughs". it is by the same writers as stranger things and is kinda similar only substituting elderly geriatric adults for children. it only has 1 season so far but is i belueve recording a second season now.

From movies and animation my top-7 recommendations: 1. Ben Hur 1959. 2. Lawrence of Arabia 3. The Last Samurai. 4. Sayonara. 5. Casablanca 6. The Land Before Time. 7. Love Story 1970. Have not checked if you have already watched something of it so sorry if yes. From TV shows you may be can watch I love Vikings, Band of Brothers and Borgia. Also I love Jumong and Emperor of the Sea, but I clearly know that nobody will react them - they are too unknown in English-speaking community.

William Hill

I recommend the movie Heathers from the 1980s. It's a dark comedy set in high school.

Rayan Drüner

Absolutely, these are movies where CGI ist used in a perfect way, the story is simple yet fabulous, especially when you consider almost all protagonists are apes.

Rayan Drüner

I would recommend, If you're a fan of animated movies (and animals), the "How to Train Your Dragon" trilogy: - How to Train Your Dragon (2010) - How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) - How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019). These movies are family-friendly masterpieces, with quite some action, but also tragic and heartwarming when they need to be. This trilogy joined other awesome animated movies from DreamWorks, you definately should check more movies from their catalogue.

Luis Garcia

For Julie: Shows: Lanterns (currently releasing, a DC show in the same universe as the recent Superman movie!) Gotham Jessica Jones Movies: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (next MCU movie) Batman and Mr. Freeze: SubZero (if you still haven't seen it) Batman (1966) For Rachel and Julie: Shows: Percy Jackson Phineas and Ferb Sonic X Miraculous Ladybug Invader Zim Movies: The Emperor's New Groove Hoodwinked! The Parent Trap (1998) Any Pixar movies you haven't seen (Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Incredibles, etc.) Wizard of Oz (and then the two Wicked movies)

AV

The first season of True Detective is amazing! (each season is a different cast w a different story but 1 is the best imo). I'd also recommend Deadwood. great series set in the old west. has a lot of crossover actors from other series too so it's kinda cool when they pop up :D

N

One to watch for you & your sis, Castlevania on Netflix

GreenLeaf

For the record: you haven’t finished the Hunger Games yet. There’s still Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes! But you should definitely check out Rise of the Planet of the Apes, then Dawn, then War, then Kingdom!

GrailXIV

Star Wars in release order. I have a feeling ya'll will fall in love with that franchise. Some others that are my favorites are Sin City, Oldboy (original S. Korean version) and Big Trouble in Little China.

Eric Church

lois & clark the new adventures of superman.

Caleb Harvey

I'm not going to shower you with endless recommendations, but I will say the original Star Wars trilogy (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) is an obvious choice. And I would also recommend the Indiana Jones trilogy (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade). There are five Indiana Jones films, but I honestly don't believe in the existence of the latter two. I'm jazzed there have been multiple recommendations for the X-Files. That's an all-time show in my opinion, but not one that I see many reaction channels watching. And if you and Rachel would like to take a chance on further horror series, I recommend the work of Mike Flanagan. It's horror, but really thought-provoking and humane. Since you two have already watched The Shining, I would recommend Doctor Sleep, which is the sequel to The Shining, written and directed by Mike Flanagan. If you like that, you may be interested in some of the shows he's done, most notably The Haunting of Hill House. Not endless recommendations, but close enough...

Ricardo Chavez

Movies-Shawshank, Dr sleep, Tim Burtons Corpse Bride, Predator, 21 jump Street. Half baked, Friday trilogy Series-The Sandman, Young Justice, Superman and Lois, Justice League unlimited,

Since you two love Uncle John you will also love The Equalizer trilogy. The Indiana Jones trilogy will also be a good pick for you two. Batman’s The Killing Joke is an animated movie that shows a version of how The Joker got his start and how he is.

Rayan Drüner

They sure would, it's a cute yet intriging story, even though it is more kids-friendly.

Jim

Family friendly yeah

Narutoanime16

Transformers Prime, 3 seasons 1 movie you & Rachel would like it new world to dive into & the 2004 The Batman show getting Rachel into more DC world, the show has everything, even has Green arrow in it at one point

Yes let’s do Saw

Jan2410

I would recommend Schindler’s List and Now you See me

Frank Eastman

You should watch the X Files. The show was very popular. They are even bringing it back with new actors. I would suggest watching the original series first.

Paul Wilson

I also have a couple of TV Shows that you should both definitely react to and that’s Cosgrove Hall’s The Wind In The Willows from the 1980s, the stop motion animation is superb and it’s lighthearted, extremely funny and the biggest part of my childhood, also the British sitcom Bottom from the 90s, absolutely fantastic, beyond over the top and extremely funny

James McCann

Hey, found you through your lotr reactions, really loved it, looking forward to your buffy reactions. I would suggest derby girls as a light hearted fun show for you and rachel
