Blackfire | Titans (Patreon)

As an adult, Blackfire (Komand'r) has grown even more cunning and powerful. After her tumultuous upbringing and her betrayal of her younger sister, Starfire, Blackfire continues her quest for power across the galaxy. She’s no longer just a bitter older sibling; she’s now a feared conqueror and political strategist. Having seized control of her home planet, Tamaran, after several brutal campaigns, Blackfire rules with a mix of fear and tactical brilliance.Though her reign is marked by ruthless ambition, as an adult, Blackfire grapples with feelings of isolation. Her desire for power was driven by a need to prove herself, but in gaining everything, she finds she has little personal fulfillment. The betrayal of her family, particularly her sister, leaves a void that even galactic dominance cannot fill.Despite her hardened exterior, Blackfire occasionally reflects on what she has lost, and these moments of vulnerability make her a more complex ruler. However, her ambition remains her driving force, and she pushes herself to maintain her grip on power at all costs, unwilling to show weakness to her enemies or herself. This adult version of Blackfire is a nuanced blend of strength, ambition, and a quiet, buried regret that adds layers to her villainous persona.
