Queen Iduna (384 photos) (Patreon)

The kingdom never saw her like this.
Gone were the layers of velvet and embroidered ceremony. Out here — far beyond the castle walls, where the cliffs met the sea and the sun slid behind the mountains — Iduna was something else entirely.
Barefoot in the dusk-warmed grass, her long hair tousled by the wind, she stood at the edge of a quiet cliffside cove, her figure wrapped in nothing but a dusky lavender bikini that shimmered against her sun-kissed skin. The soft breeze lifted the ends of her hair as she tilted her head back, eyes closed, breathing deep — not out of duty, but freedom.
She hadn’t worn this side of herself in years.
Not since before the crown. Before the children. Before the world began expecting her to be only one thing.
But here, with the glow of sunset catching the curves of her body, she was still the woman she’d always been beneath the titles — wild, poised, magnetic. Every motion was deliberate: the way her fingers trailed the edge of her hip, the way her weight shifted from one leg to the other as the ocean whispered below.
She caught a glance over her shoulder, knowing she wasn’t alone — knowing someone had followed the path down to the hidden shore just to see her. Her expression didn’t falter. It deepened. Confident, calm, and quietly commanding.
She didn’t speak.
She didn’t need to.
This wasn’t the queen who comforted her daughters or calmed the council.
This was Iduna — the one who had once run barefoot through enchanted groves, who had been kissed by spirits and moonlight, who still knew how to hold a gaze until it burned.
And tonight, in the soft breath between sunset and starlight, she wasn’t ruling anything.
She was choosing to be seen.
