It began, as most stories do between rivals, with a clash.

Supergirl had tracked a sudden energy spike across the outskirts of Metropolis—a familiar signature that made her stomach twist. She landed hard in the crater, fists ready, only to be met with the one person who never failed to rattle her: Galatea.

Cloned from her own DNA and built as a weapon, Galatea was supposed to be the enemy. She was supposed to be a reminder of what could go wrong when power was corrupted. But instead, she was something far more complicated—familiar in all the wrong ways, tempting in all the right ones.

“Still chasing me like I’m your shadow?” Galatea smirked, brushing blonde strands from her cheek, her tone sharp but her eyes lingering just a second too long.

Kara’s jaw tightened. “You don’t get to be my shadow when you keep stepping into the light.”

They fought, as they always did—fierce, fast, fluid. But something had shifted. There was hesitation in their blows, pauses that stretched too long, glances that flicked down instead of forward. When they collided mid-air and crashed through a rooftop skylight, they landed breathless—Galatea straddling Kara, their bodies tangled, chests rising and falling in rhythm.

Neither moved.

Electric silence filled the space between them.

Galatea's voice dropped, teasing but husky. “You gonna throw another punch… or admit you don’t hate this as much as you pretend?”

Kara’s fingers tightened against Galatea’s waist, unsure whether to push her away or pull her closer. “I don’t know what this is.”

“You don’t have to. Not yet,” Galatea whispered, brushing strands of Kara’s hair from her flushed cheek.

From that night on, things changed.

Their battles became... less brutal. Their tension—once dangerous—curled into something heavier, softer, and impossible to ignore. They trained together, argued over rooftops, and shared stolen moments when the world wasn’t watching. Every glance lingered, every touch lasted just a little too long.

And when Galatea surprised Kara with a rare truce and a shared sunset flight over the city skyline, Kara didn’t question it. She let herself lean into the warmth of her once-enemy’s side, feeling the storm between them finally begin to crackle with something new.

It wasn’t love yet. But it was something.Something thrilling.Something they both wanted to explore… slowly, deeply, dangerously.

Together.

😲🥵🤯💥GYAT-dayum!🔥🔥🔥You know I'm not the biggest 2D fan, but even the 2D stuff here is incredible - it's that Bruce Timm style. He's not a famous Good-Girl artist for nothing! - but the few 3D versions you snuck in here are KILLING me!💀👌I REALLY hope we can get a 3D version of this, maybe with the Kara from Superman/Batman? (To be honest, I would want to see her in SO many different lesbian pairings - WW, Lois, Darkside Kara, Donna Troy, etc. etc. - but I'll be happy with just a Kara/PG, or Kara/clone one for now!😉👍)
