Bulma’s Journey to Namek (479 photos) (Patreon)

The hum of the spaceship’s engine was a constant lullaby in the background, a reminder that she was millions of miles from home, racing toward a planet she’d never seen. Namek. The word alone felt cold and alien, but Bulma Briefs was never one to shy away from the unknown.
She leaned back in the pilot’s chair, stretching in the sleek black bodysuit she’d designed herself. It wasn’t just functional—it was a statement. The glossy material hugged her curves like a second skin, catching the cool glow of the console lights. She told herself it was purely for comfort in zero-gravity… but she knew she liked the way it made her feel: confident, sharp, untouchable.
Her days were a mix of navigation, maintenance, and careful recalibrations of the ship’s systems. Nights, though, were different. Nights were quiet. They gave her time to think—about the friends she’d left behind, the danger ahead, and the unspoken tension in the air. Even though she was alone in the control room, she felt the weight of unseen eyes—perhaps just her imagination, or maybe the sense that the universe itself was watching.
One evening, after a long round of diagnostics, Bulma moved to the auxiliary lab. Her fingers danced over the control panels with precise, almost teasing movements, the black fabric of her gloves creaking softly. Every switch, every glowing button under her touch seemed to spark with a private electricity. She leaned over the holographic display, the light tracing along the lines of her jaw and catching the mischievous glint in her eyes.
It wasn’t that she wanted to distract herself from the mission—it was that she needed to. And so she let herself indulge in small rituals: lingering in front of the mirror before changing into her suit, letting the zipper pause just long enough for her reflection to smirk back at her; pacing the ship’s corridors barefoot, her footsteps soft on the cold metal; leaning back in her chair, stretching until the synthetic fabric of her bodysuit whispered against her skin.
But Namek loomed closer with every passing day, and with it came the inevitable—encounters with warriors, allies and enemies alike. In the rare moments when she allowed herself to think about the upcoming negotiations, she could almost feel the heat of an unfamiliar gaze on her. Someone dangerous. Someone who might challenge her not with brute force, but with something far more disarming.
For now, the ship purred steadily, cutting through the silence of space. Bulma sat at the helm, one gloved hand on the controls, the other resting lightly at her hip. She was more than ready for Namek. But what she didn’t realize was that Namek might not be ready for her.
