The sun had only begun to rise over the marble arcades of Bright Moon, but Adora—no, She-Ra—was already awake. Dawn light spilled through the high arches like molten gold, catching the edges of her armor, warming the soft folds of her white dress, and painting her skin with a glow she didn’t need magic to possess. She stood barefoot on cool stone, her sword resting against her thigh, her breath steady but tinged with something she rarely allowed herself to feel.

Anticipation.

She had fought armies, shattered dark fortresses, pushed herself to exhaustion for the sake of Etheria… but none of that compared to how her pulse behaved when she was waiting—waiting for a presence she could sense long before she ever heard footsteps. Her cape shifted in a whisper of red as a breeze drifted by, teasing her hair across her shoulder like a touch she wasn’t ready to admit she missed.

She told herself it was duty stirring inside her chest. Responsibility. But the truth hummed deeper, warmer, sweeter.

This feeling wasn’t born on the battlefield.

She let her fingers trail lightly over the hilt of the Sword of Protection, but there was no urgency in the gesture—only a thoughtful, sensual grace, the kind she only showed when no one else was watching. Her eyes softened as she looked toward the tree-line beyond the courtyard. The world seemed to lean closer, as if listening to the quiet thrum beneath her calm exterior.

She-Ra was powerful. Unshakable. Unyielding.

But Adora… Adora had always been tender in ways she never quite learned to hide.

When he finally stepped into view, framed by light and the faint shimmer of morning mist, she felt her breath hitch—just slightly, just enough for her to feel it. She didn’t move, didn’t speak; she simply lowered her chin and let her eyes meet his with a slow, unmistakable confidence. Her lips curved into a subtle smile, one that carried warmth and promise and a hint of mischief she rarely let slip.

He looked at her like she was both sunlight and storm, a goddess wrapped in silk and steel. She felt the weight of his gaze—slow, reverent, lingering on the curve of her waist, the golden armor hugging her shoulders, the crimson cape cascading behind her like a whispered invitation.

She-Ra took a single step toward him, her voice soft, steady, velvet-smooth.

“Couldn’t sleep either?”

He shook his head, but his eyes never left her. She noticed the way he swallowed, the way he tried—unsuccessfully—to hide the effect she had on him. Something warm fluttered through her chest, spreading outward, making her feel powerful in an entirely different way.

She approached him with the kind of grace that made even the morning light pause. Her hair floated around her like a golden halo, her steps silent, almost predatory in their confidence—not threatening, but deeply alluring. When she stopped in front of him, she tilted her head just enough to let a lock of hair slide over her shoulder.

He murmured her name—Adora—and the sound of it, quiet and reverent, sent a rush of heat through her spine.

Her smile deepened.

She reached for his hand, guiding it to her waist with slow, deliberate softness. The contact was warm, electric, intimate in ways she’d never admitted she wanted. She watched him closely, savoring the way his breath changed at her touch.

“You always see me before I’m ready,” she whispered—not with embarrassment, but with a growing, confident sweetness. “And you never look away.”

He didn’t.

He couldn’t.

And She-Ra let him see everything she usually hid behind armor and duty—the tenderness, the quiet desire, the fierce devotion she rarely let herself express. Morning light wrapped around them, soft and golden, as though the world approved of the moment unfolding.

She leaned in ever so slightly, her forehead nearly brushing his, her voice warm enough to melt the chill of dawn.

“You make me feel stronger,” she breathed. “Not as She-Ra… but as me.”

The courtyard felt smaller, the air warmer, the tension between them threaded with something intimate and slow-burning and impossibly gentle. Her hand slid up his chest, her fingers grazing the line of his jaw with a feather-light touch, guiding his attention exactly where she wanted it—on her, on this moment, on the quiet spark neither of them could ignore anymore.

And as the sun climbed higher and the world brightened around them, She-Ra allowed herself something rare, something precious:

A moment where she wasn’t just a hero or a warrior—

—but a woman letting her guard fallsoftly, deliberately, beautifullyfor someone who had already stolen her breath.

The woke version thought it was the original version

Not bad, but we are getting into "Genetic AI Same-Face" territory.

😎I can live with it being the woke version as long as she's so clearly NOT a "they/them" but an actual SHE-Ra!😍🔥😈😉👌 Solid set, but I will add to what I said earlier about the 2D/3D debate: I'm willing to bet that most of us on here are at least mild completionists (geeks always are), and so having one 3D and one 2D set a day is going to make both sides equally unhappy, especially over time. The 2D fans will be angry over being "shut out" from the sets with 3D characters, and I KNOW for a fact that 3D fans are always blue-balled over every set that is exclusively in 2D. Especially if it's a character you would really love to be able to enjoy. Either way it means that you effectively only get 50% of the overall output. I know that I'm still bitter over the day we got 2 lovely Supergirl sets...BOTH in 2D. One of my favoritest characters, solid sets both, completely useless to me and I knew I'd have to wait weeks at least for another chance and no guarantee that the next set would be in 3D either.
