There was a softness in the air that night—one of those rare evenings when Chicago’s skyline seemed to hum instead of roar. Atom Eve hovered high above it all, the glow of the city reflecting in her eyes like a thousand tiny promises. She loved the hours just before midnight, when the world slowed enough for her to feel… human. Not a weapon. Not a savior. Just a woman suspended between longing and possibility.

She’d never admit it aloud, but Valentine’s Day had always carved out a lonely ache in her chest. Saving strangers was easy. Opening herself to someone who saw her as more than the pink glow and perfect precision? Much harder. But tonight felt different—charged, electric, as if the universe were quietly pressing a hand to the small of her back, guiding her toward something she had tried not to hope for.

Down below was the penthouse she had rebuilt piece by piece after her last heartbreak. Clean lines. Soft light. A place that felt like her again. It had become her sanctuary… and lately, for reasons she tried not to analyze, she kept imagining what it would feel like to share it with someone who understood both the girl and the hero.

As she landed on the balcony, the sheer curtains billowed inward as though greeting her. Rose petals she’d shaped earlier drifted across the floor—small, delicate creations of energy she pretended were for ambiance, not for courage. She stepped inside, slipping out of her boots, letting her shoulders relax as the world outside dimmed behind the glass.

She caught her reflection in the window:Stronger than she once believed.Softer than she let most people see.A woman rediscovering herself one breath at a time.

Her fingertips glowed faintly as she trailed them across the frame of the window, the pink light shimmering like a heartbeat. It felt good to create something beautiful for no one’s sake but her own.

But then… her thoughts drifted to him—the person who had slipped unexpectedly into her mind lately, not with intensity, but with warmth. Someone who made her feel seen without being overwhelmed. Someone who didn’t need saving but made her want to show the parts of herself she usually protected behind armor and obligations.

The memory of his voice—steady, curious, quietly appreciative—lingered in her mind like the afterglow of a touch that had never actually happened. And maybe that was the thing tugging at her tonight… the idea that connection didn’t have to be dangerous. It could be gentle. It could be slow. It could feel like finally exhaling.

She moved farther into the room, fingertips grazing the petals scattered across her sheets. The gesture felt symbolic—an invitation not to someone else, but to herself. To want. To feel. To open the door she’d kept barred for far too long.

Her suit dissolved into soft pink light around her, reforming into the delicate Valentine lingerie she crafted earlier—silk and lace shaped with quiet confidence, hugging the curves of a woman who was finally starting to believe she deserved desire, not just admiration. The glow illuminated her skin, turning her into a living heartbeat in the half-dark.

She didn’t pose. She didn’t preen. She simply existed—warm, radiant, utterly present.

And for the first time in a long time, Eve allowed herself to imagine something sweet, slow, intimate:someone stepping through that doorway…someone meeting her gaze with equal heat and equal hesitation…someone who would learn her shape not through power, but through presence.

A soft smile tugged her lips as she sat on the edge of the bed, the city shimmering behind her through the tall windows. Tonight wasn’t about saving the world. It wasn’t even about saving herself.

Tonight was about opening space—for connection, for desire, for the thrilling ache of being wanted in return.

And as the petals drifted around her, swirling in the soft breeze of her own making, Atom Eve whispered to no one and to someone all at once:

ā€œHappy Valentine’s Day…I’m finally ready.ā€

šŸ’–šŸ‘Speaking only for myself, I can say that I'm MUCH happier about 2D sets if I also have a lovely parallel 3D companion piece that comes with it.šŸ”„šŸ„³šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™(Even if this 2D set happens to have A LOT of 3D in it.😁🄰) I noticed that with the (first?) Tara set (from Kim Possible). Having both versions together (whether in one set or in two) definitely makes me appreciate the 2D more.šŸ‘ŒTHANK YOU!šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

I don’t remember any 3D in this set lol, you may be referring to AP’s 2.5D lol. It sounds like it makes no sense but I’m sure you know what I mean by it.
