Rapunzel – Colors She Was Never Allowed to Touch (530 photos) (Patreon)
Content
For years, Rapunzel painted the world she imagined.
Not the one she lived in.
Inside the tower, her brushes moved endlessly—soft strokes across canvas, layering colors she had only dreamed about. Deep blues for oceans she’d never seen. Warm golds for sunlight she barely felt. Bright bursts of color for a life that always felt just out of reach.
But paint, to her, was never just art.
It was freedom.
The first time she stepped outside, that changed everything.
The world wasn’t careful or contained like her paintings. It was messy. Loud. Unpredictable. And Rapunzel fell in love with that chaos immediately.
She started painting differently after that.
Faster. Bolder.
Less perfect.
There were nights she’d work in a quiet studio tucked between glowing windows and lantern-lit streets, music drifting through open doors. She’d lose track of time completely—bare feet against the floor, hair trailing behind her like sunlight spilled across the room.
And little by little, the paint stopped staying on the canvas.
A streak of color across her arm.
A smudge along her cheek.
Fingerprints pressed absentmindedly against her skin as she stepped back to look at her work.
She didn’t notice at first.
Didn’t care when she did.
Because for the first time in her life, nothing had to be controlled.
Nothing had to be perfect.
The colors followed her now—soft purples, bright teals, flashes of gold—like pieces of her art refusing to be contained anymore.
And somehow, that made her even more radiant.
Not because she was trying to be.
But because she had finally become part of the world she used to only imagine.
Messy. Alive. Unfiltered.
And absolutely impossible to look away from.
