Raven & Starfire — Velvet After Midnight (175 photos) (Patreon)

Everyone in Titans Tower noticed the change long before either of them admitted it aloud.
It started with small things.
Starfire lingering closer during movie nights. Raven pretending not to notice when emerald eyes stayed fixed on her a second too long. Quiet conversations on the rooftop stretching past midnight while the city lights shimmered below them like distant stars.
Neither of them talked about it.
Not directly.
But tension has a way of growing louder in silence.
Especially between opposites.
Starfire burned warm and radiant, all confident smiles and glowing affection. She moved through every room like sunlight wrapped in silk, effortlessly drawing people toward her orbit. Raven was the exact opposite — cool, composed, impossible to read beneath violet eyes and carefully controlled emotions.
Yet somehow, together, they fit perfectly.
Like firelight dancing against midnight shadows.
The first time Raven saw Starfire wearing soft pink lace beneath the dim glow of stained-glass windows, she forgot every carefully rehearsed meditation mantra she’d ever learned. Starfire stood near the bed with rose-colored fabric tracing along golden skin while moonlight poured through towering gothic arches behind her.
Beautiful didn’t even begin to describe it.
And Starfire knew.
That teasing little smile on her lips gave it away immediately.
“You are staring again,” she whispered playfully.
Raven rolled her eyes.
Which only made Starfire laugh harder.
That became their favorite game after hours — quiet teasing hidden behind half-smiles and lingering looks. Raven would sit elegantly against dark velvet sheets pretending to read while Starfire found increasingly creative excuses to lean against her shoulder, brush fingertips along her arm, or whisper something distracting directly into her ear.
Every touch felt charged.
Every glance lasted slightly too long.
And the bedroom slowly transformed into their private little world.
Candles flickered softly against violet walls. Rose petals scattered carelessly across polished floors. Moonlight spilled through stained-glass windows in shades of pink and blue, wrapping both of them in dreamy colors that made the nights feel unreal.
Starfire adored the softness of it all.
Raven secretly adored how impossible it became to resist her there.
Especially when Starfire wore pink.
Especially when she smiled like that.
But Starfire wasn’t the only dangerous one.
Because Raven understood temptation in a completely different way.
Where Starfire was warmth, Raven was restraint — calm purple eyes watching carefully from across the room while black lace and dark silk contrasted against pale skin. She never needed to demand attention. She simply let silence do the work for her.
And Starfire melted every single time.
Sometimes they danced slowly together beneath the stained-glass glow with music barely audible in the background. Sometimes they sat tangled together near the window, speaking softly until sunrise painted the room gold. Sometimes neither of them spoke at all.
They simply stayed close.
Comfortably.
Intimately.
Like they’d discovered a secret version of peace that only existed when the rest of the world disappeared.
People always imagined Raven and Starfire as opposites.
Darkness and light.
Moon and sun.
But behind closed doors, beneath velvet curtains and candlelit shadows, they became something else entirely.
Not opposites.
Complements.
One soft where the other was guarded.
One playful where the other was composed.
Together they created something dangerously beautiful — the kind of chemistry that turned quiet moments into unforgettable ones.
And long after midnight faded into dawn, Titans Tower still carried traces of them:
Rose petals on the floor.
Perfume lingering in dark hallways.
And two silhouettes sitting close together beneath stained glass while the city slept far below.
