The invitation shocked everyone.

Not because Shego was getting married.

Because nobody believed she ever would.

For years she had built a reputation that stretched across every corner of the criminal underworld. Sarcastic. Dangerous. Unpredictable. The woman who could level a room with emerald plasma and then mock everyone standing in it.

Commitment wasn't exactly her brand.

Yet somehow, against every expectation, the most feared woman on the coast found herself standing inside a private oceanside villa as the sun melted into the horizon.

Waiting.

The ceremony would begin in less than an hour.

Black rose petals drifted across marble floors while warm ocean air carried the scent of saltwater through the open windows. Everything had been designed to fit her perfectly.

No white lace.

No fairy-tale princess nonsense.

No traditional wedding gown.

Just elegance wrapped in shadows.

Exactly the way Shego liked it.

She sat quietly near the balcony, long dark hair flowing over her shoulders as the sunset painted gold across the ocean below.

The strange part wasn't the wedding.

The strange part was how calm she felt.

No missions.

No schemes.

No dramatic escapes.

Just anticipation.

She remembered the first time she'd met the person waiting for her downstairs. Most people either feared her or tried to control her.

They did neither.

They challenged her.

Matched her wit.

Refused to be intimidated.

And somehow managed to see past the reputation that everyone else worshipped or feared.

At first she hated that.

Then she respected it.

Eventually she couldn't imagine life without it.

The realization had terrified her more than any hero ever had.

A soft knock came from the doorway.

"Five minutes."

Shego rolled her eyes automatically.

"Yeah, yeah."

The attendant disappeared.

Silence returned.

For a moment she stood alone by the balcony and looked out over the water.

The horizon glowed amber and crimson.

Beautiful.

Dangerous.

Unpredictable.

A little like her.

She smiled to herself.

Most people thought villains dreamed about power.

Money.

Control.

But after enough years, she had learned something different.

The rarest thing in the world wasn't victory.

It was finding someone who understood every sharp edge and stayed anyway.

Someone who saw the fire and never asked her to extinguish it.

Someone who wanted the real Shego.

Not a softer version.

Not a different version.

Her.

Exactly as she was.

The music began downstairs.

Her cue.

She took one final breath, gathered herself, and started toward the grand staircase.

Black petals scattered beneath every step.

For once, she wasn't walking toward a battle.

She wasn't planning a heist.

She wasn't preparing to defeat a hero.

She was walking toward a future she never thought she'd want.

And for the first time in a very long time, Shego wasn't running from it.

She was smiling. 🖤🥀🌅

I still wish there had been a few more shots of her in an Elegant Black Lace Gown, but the overall set is excellent. She contrasts against the scene just as well as I had hoped. And I love her expressions, a powerful woman about to take what she desires 🖤🔥
