Long before explorers stumbled across Atlantis, Kida had spent centuries watching the same waterfalls pour into the same crystal-blue pools.

The city never changed.

The people rarely changed.

And immortality, she learned, could be surprisingly lonely.

Every morning she walked the ancient stone pathways before anyone else was awake. The warm mist from the falls drifted across her skin while sunlight filtered through the jungle canopy above. It was peaceful.

Too peaceful.

For someone who had lived for thousands of years, adventure had become harder and harder to find.

Until strangers arrived.

At first, she only wanted answers.

Who were they?

Where had they come from?

Why did they seem so fascinated by things she had seen every day of her life?

But curiosity became something else.

Something warmer.

Something she hadn't expected.

For the first time in centuries, Kida found herself seeing Atlantis through new eyes.

The waterfalls weren't simply waterfalls.

The glowing crystal caverns weren't simply caves.

The city wasn't simply home.

It was beautiful.

And somehow she had forgotten.

As days passed, she spent more time wandering the hidden pools and ancient ruins that surrounded the city. Sometimes alone.

Sometimes not.

She would sit on sun-warmed stone beside the water, listening to distant birds and watching sunlight dance across the surface of the pools.

The quiet moments became her favorite.

No royal duties.

No expectations.

No history weighing on her shoulders.

Just the sound of water and the feeling of being free.

The people of Atlantis often viewed their princess as a symbol.

A protector.

A leader.

A living connection to the crystal itself.

But beneath the title was simply a woman trying to discover who she wanted to be after centuries of living for everyone else.

The jungle became her escape.

The waterfalls became her sanctuary.

And little by little, the serious princess everyone knew began to smile more often.

Laugh more often.

Dream more often.

Because for the first time in a very long time, Kida wasn't looking backward at Atlantis's past.

She was looking forward.

Toward possibilities.

Toward adventures.

Toward a future that felt exciting again.

Standing beneath the endless cascade of crystal-blue water, she closed her eyes and listened to the rushing falls.

Atlantis would always be her home.

But perhaps there were still countless mysteries left to discover.

And after thousands of years, that thought made her heart race more than anything else.

The Lost City had finally found something new.

Hope.

Awesome Kida! Prefer the this over the rough edge and feature versions of her. Much like Jinx is usually done, I like the soft, cleaner versions of the two.
