Marie Rose — Bourgeoisie Burlesque; On Centre Stage (364 photos) (Patreon)

The grand ballroom of the Douglas estate was a sensory overload of unadulterated French decadence. Gilded chandeliers cast a warm, flickering glow over velvet-draped alcoves, where high-society patrons indulged in fine vintage champagne and whispered scandals over low music. At the heart of the excess stood Helena Douglas herself, the perfect, composed orchestrator of the evening. And tonight, Marie Rose was her premier attraction.

Marie sat poised on the edge of the elevated centre stage, her posture effortlessly commanding the room despite the chaotic luxury surrounding her. She had traded her usual servant uniform for a performance ensemble curated precisely for the venue’s aesthetic—a sleek, high-gloss black bodysuit that shimmered brilliantly under the purple ambient spotlights. Delicate white frills lined the hips, a subtle nod to her signature gothic-lolita roots, while the high collar was fastened with a small, metallic cross. Thigh-high latex boots completed the look, emphasizing her delicate frame while projecting an undeniable, sharp confidence.

She looked out over the crowd, her bright blue eyes scanning the faces of the enraptured guests. To them, she was a mysterious, captivating dancer brought in to elevate the night's theatrical charm. To Helena, she was a fiercely loyal confidante performing a necessary role to keep the influential guests thoroughly entertained.

A low, heavy bassline began to ripple through the ballroom's sound system, signaling the start of her set. The ambient chatter of the bourgeoisie instantly faded to a collective, expectant hush as all eyes locked onto the stage.

Marie Rose adjusted her twin pigtails with a slow, deliberate movement, a small, knowing smirk playing on her lips as she leaned forward onto her hands. The music swelled, the lights shifted, and with a graceful tilt of her head, she took the signal to begin. The party was reaching its peak, and the main event had officially arrived.
