The only reason I like when reactors watch the dubs is because usually they pick up on a lot more…a lot people struggle with reading comprehension and the fact that the Japanese language is much more poetic and doesn’t translate perfectly. The King you are talking about is the 145th king. that was the king about 80 years before in the current timeline. He is the king that started the vow renouncing war because he saw what the eldians were doing for centuries was wrong, so he fled to paradi with millions of titans & his people, and then erased their memories, & switched their name to reiss, which is why the king of the walls just kept them in the blind.
