Next episode would be the last one before my hiatus n that's why i said it would end on a terrible cliffhanger but my shoulder is really awful right now.. and i really need this break, thank you all for being so understanding.. 2026 starting awful for me rn 2027 is my year for sure!! JK... but yeah..😭😭😭😭

Obviously more plot will be revealed soon and I have a lot in store for after the hiatus, but the restaurant plot line is almost coming to a close so yayyy! cherie and crush came into the restaurant arc with really heavy dynamics and they come out of both learning a lot about themselves and each other, i've always just loved writing their relationship bc there's always new things to learn about them, the way they influence each other and the way they influence other people around them is really fun to write, it's pretty hard to balance between making everything about cherie crush and having fun side characters to read, like compared to the syndicate arc where there were 458983 people to manage i only had to think about the restaurant owner and her kid this time and it's super super refreshing, i get to explore more about cherie's past with Anh and Crush's past with his dad through just these 2 characters so i'd say it was pretty effective, AND i get to have them wear "wedding rings" that was a gift from a kid they both helped, which brings closure to Crush's "I need a real ring or it's not real" mentality.. mundane plot points are easier for readers to follow than the political stuff that happens in the Syndicate, but everything will collide soon since Chohan's finally here.. i still wish i could make it more interesting to read though 😭 but people usually just don't gaf about plot that doesn't concern Cherie Crush so i get it..
