I've had a lot of fun doing these again.. who knew not having a comic deadline breathing down ur neck would make me draw with less stress ... it's been a really nice couple of weeks just resting and catching up on paintings and drawing silly things again and i really really appreciate you guys for letting me take this break.. like genuinely this hiatus is doing wonders for my shoulders and mental health rn im really really grateful..

Everytime i open my patreon requests there's always new ppl sending stuff in which makes me so happy like i genuinely thought i'd get at best a couple hundred requests and that's it but noo there's always new ideas u guys give me and i loveeee playing around with AUs so these are really the only way i get to interact with everybody on an artistic level.. and i hope my AU interpretations are good enough for people's standards as well.. i love answering trivias about my ocs and any excuse i get to draw them out i just take them.. i still wake up everyday in disbelief that i get to draw and talk about my ocs for a living and it's just something i have yet to reconcile with bc it's so insane to me 😢😭😭 like this many ppl wanna hear me yap abt my yaois?? that's crazyee.. but here u guys are.. and here i am.. 3 years later and i'm still doing cherry crush..

The comic's taking awhile and I'm also dealing with some real life stress (BESIDES THE COMIC) but getting to draw and paint the things i love for now really takes the strain away, like when ur in flow state u kinda zone out and don't notice ur in pain u know..? drawing has always been like that for me and knowing that ppl are interested in my art makes me really really happy.. idk i've just been really sentimental abt cherry crush now that i'm wrapping the series up once I get back from hiatus and i just feel so melancholic about how far we've all come... that's all..
