[SEASON 4] Cherry Crush Episode 139 (Patreon)

Hallo everynyan! Happy cherry crush friday!

This episode is quite different jsakdnsajkn but it's for a reason, i've grouped ep 138 139 140 into a chapter because these are probably the only 3 episodes that doesn't have cherie and crush in it and that's pretty much for a reason, i wanted to show the effect both of them have had and the consequences of it.. this entire season felt really fun to write bc its like a chess match, both sides are playing each other and the back and forth is quite fun.

Everyone knew the book was gonna be found but i also want people to see how it gets discovered by Chohan and Thorne without it being too contrived, and i wanted the scene between the restaurant owner and chohan to feel tense just like many scenes where chohan shows up to interrogate people before, i love showing the audience the plan and then have the audience see how the plan works out as well.. it makes the situation feels a lot more immersive bc everyone is constantly thinking about how things can go wrong and then when they least expect it.. another thing goes wrong! there's like a little bit more i need to reveal before the big climax comes and that's a whole other thing to worry abt.. Since there is no cherie and crush in this episode, ive decided to have some fun bc we're basically just an observer now, when either cherie or crush are in a scene, i try to anchor the monologues on one of them so the audience bc theyre the mcs after all, but bc there is no monologues here, the audience doesn't know what's going to happen, like youre watching events play out as theyre being played out and i really enjoy writing scenes where the audience is out of the loop and has to see if things worked or not, the lack of monologue makes this episode feels extra quiet and that's for a reason since we're also partly watching the events through Thorne's eyes.

I felt like this season has been paced so poorly and im really not proud of some of the filler episodes ive done but i hope that when you finish binging the series you'll come to like the filler episodes just bc of how intense the later episodes are.. If i had told u the draft for season 4 u wouldnt believe me how long it is like ive had to cut out sooooo many things just to get here, and i didnt want to rush it either bc the worst thing i can do for my series is to give it a bad ending.. some series have one bad ending and it follows them years later so i've been putting a lot of pressure on myself to leave no stones unturned in season 4.. but it seems in doing so i kind of dragged this on for a little too long for everyones liking.. i apologize.. Not to mention the million breaks and hiatuses i took bc of my horrible health.. 😭
