She is a sacred priestess serving at a shrine dedicated to the Serpent Deity. This year marks a special “sacred duty” for her. As part of her New Year’s service, she dons garments symbolizing the Serpent Deity and performs a holy dance. This dance not only conveys the will of the deity but also serves as a ritual to purify the “evil” lingering within the villagers and calm their anger and unease.During the dance, as the villagers become overwhelmed with heightened emotions, she takes it upon herself to absorb their feelings through her own body. This selfless act channels the power of the Serpent Deity to cleanse the evil and restore harmony to the village. It is a profound mission of devotion—a sacred duty that bridges the divine and the human, bringing peace to all.-----彼女は蛇神様を祀る神社に仕える神職であり、今年は特別な「お役目」の年。
