THE MIST has arrived and our hope of ever feeling peace or joy again has quickly left in this Patreon exclusive, first-time watch of…the bleakest movie we’ve ever seen? 🙃 The titular “Mist” (Miss Mist if you’re nasty!) has gone on a bloody little rampage and she won’t stop until she eviscerates all…even if that means getting her captors to do the dirty work instead 🤭🌫️🕷️

I love how Melissa McBride’s character here is just Carol from the Walking Dead pre-badass evolution lol I wonder if this role helped her get that one. So many early Walking Dead actors in this movie I got nostalgic lol

The ending to this movie is so devastating, but it should be since it is a cosmic horror story. I love the movie, but it is not one I rewatch very often cause I need a good antidepressant afterwards.

I loved this 💕💕 My favourite King adaptation is probably the OG Pet Sematary, and my fave piece of trivia about it is that in a scene where the main character wanders out of bed in the night the actor was originally just wearing shorts, but they ended up putting him in full pyjamas because he was so hot it was distracting from the plot 🔥😅 I'd like to see you react to Doctor Sleep if you haven't already seen it! Rebecca Ferguson is so scary in it 😱

As always, great reactions from you guys! I love this movie, seen it for the first time a few years ago, the ending ALWAYS leaves me SHOOK! On a side note: Was literally thinking of recommending IT and Carrie commentaries before I watched the video 😂 So glad you’re one step ahead of me haha.

I was so glad this won the poll. It’s definitely one that sticks with you. I had read the novella prior to seeing it in theaters and it stays extremely faithful until the end, which shocked the hell out of me. FYI if you ever do decide to watch it again, Frank Darabont also created a black & white version of the film for dvd/bluray, which I actually prefer. It brings out a lot of moodiness and dread to the shots. Highly recommend!

It's been a while since I've seen this movie.... forgot a lot about it, but not the ending. Just soul crushing. I bow to Frances Sternhagen (Irene) in this and all things. ❤️ When you said, "Who is cheering that?" while the crowd killed the soldier, my first instinct was to say people who will attend a Trump rally in the future.. 🤷‍♀️ Just me?

I can't recall the details but there were several endings considered (and I believe a few filmed) and this was one of the more bleak ones but it did better. As hard as the ending is I do think it's the best writing wise, and really sticks the landing!

Often when I am watching y'all, I am on my laptop, in the backyard, enjoying the outdoors and smoking. This evening, the sun is going down, it's not too cold (yet), no wind, the fall colors lured me into listening to the birds and watching a squirrel walk along the high wires and go from poll to poll--Wes all but screams! LOL! I think he gasps. It's the part with the bugs and all I see when I look back down at the screen is Wes and Chey making horrified faces! ROFL! I laughed so hard I was crying just now, which is very needed. I've been so down lately (just in general--it's my first time quitting nicotine and I'm determined to see it thru!!!!). Thank you both. I needed that emotional laugh. *hugs*
