interesting you guys found the episode a little slower, I thought this episode fed us a lot of information making it a turning point in the story meanwhile I found episode 3 to be the slow episode :)

She isn't a nazi sympathizer that's the point, it's that preconceived notion of her because she did what she had to do in a war to get food and cigarettes now after the war she is looked at as a whore and sympathizer

I guess I have just never seen Armand as cold. He has so much fire in his eyes like Dreamstat said "Do you feel the heat in the room rise when the secret is discussed" he is so intense. He is quiet but that is something Louis needs after the noise of Lestat. He is a lot and like every character in the show there is a duality in him he is so powerful yet so vulnerable. I for one would rather spend time with Armand than Lestat but I have more interest in discussing deep topics Lestat wouldn't do that with Louis. I think that Assad (the actor that plays Armand) explains his character really well in interviews and the after credit behind the scenes thing they do

Mary

Ahhh great reaction, I can't wait for next week!!! Young (and old TBH) Daniel can get it

ChrisNThings

NNNNOO you guys! Madeline was NOT a nazi... she SLEPT with one for a couple of days/weeks and that LABELED her a nazi... the 19 year old boy was a NAZI SOILDER! And because they did not get married she was deemed a slut and now the townspeople taunt her with the swastika. She was caught up in a huge misunderstanding of human emotions.

ChrisNThings

ALSO GUYS... I don't know if you noticed... and us book readers knew this but... ARUN, AMADEO, ARMAND... same person. He was talking about himself. He wasn't talking about his maker, that is Marius but not the guy in the painting. The guy in the painting is Armand he is looking at himself as a young human 20 year old that is why the scene is so powerful.

ChrisNThings

"It's so cold and not fun" You guys REALLLYYY need to read the books! You DO NOT understand!! Blood and Gold is SPECIFIC to Armand's story btw. They just switched him from Andrei (Ukrainian) to Arun (middle eastern).

Blake

AHHHH! Gotta wait another week for the next! *cries*

i live for your guys's reactions! can't wait for the rest of the season - i can feel that rollercoaster drop you guys mentioned at the start of the season coming, the tension........ ah, this show is something else. i think the only show that's ever made me feel this way was hannibal

Aaron S.

also, as a loustat warrior extraordinaire, louis basically letting dreamstat go means the next time we're gonna see lestat in the current timeline (or paris past?) will be the Real Lestat, right? this shit is going to HURT jfhsdfjds

Armand’s parents loved him so much that they never sold their eldest son, he was kidnapped and sold. Marius bought the young boy to help him, the only reason he made Amadeus a vampire was to keep him from dying. Amadeus was cut with a poisoned blade, when fought against a bad person. Marius was a kind master who gave his boys education, painting and when they were old enough the young men were given money. Marius wanted all the young boys he helped to go out and live a human life. Magnus was Lestat’s maker, Magnus had no connections with Armand’s Paris coven. The story is still very good, the acting is superb.🏳️‍🌈Happy Pride!
