Once upon a midnight dreary this series made us weak and weary in this first-time watch of THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER! We're kicking off our brand new Mike Flanagan series with a glimpse into the trials and tribulations of the most fabulously vile family and to say it rocked us to our core would not do this brilliant show justice. Will it be the blood or the tea that spills faster? The race is on and let the games begin! 🤭🐦‍⬛🫀👑🐈‍⬛

Glad to see you guys giving props to Mary McDonnell. She is so amazing in this series, and I feel like she was kind of ignored when it came to handing out praise. She is an incredible actress. I hope Mike Flanagan adds her to the repertoire of actors that he uses over and over again.

The whole monkey thing reminds me of the rebooted Planet of the apes films, if you guy's never seen them you should check them out, they're all amazing film's.

The way scene with Kate Seigel and Carla Gugino in the monkey pens is still so iconic to me. It was so tense and the way Carla was acting and intimiating like a monkey? Amazing.

That was Perry haunting Roderick. Also the cat was alive all along. Napoleon never killed her. I think you owe him an apology! LOL Just kidding.

I love the Madeline and Arthur combo - they just have the same, killer vibe. Perfectly matched sci-fi royalty. If this has you at all into Mary McDonnell, I highly recommend Battlestar Galactica. It's my favorite show, and her BSG character makes Madeline's AI obsession pretty hilarious.

I didn't like all the gory animal bits in Napoleon's storyline, but I do love that the cat was never actually dead and it was all hallucinations or something. That means the cat (or the other animals) never suffered. Pluto is such a cute cat <3
