My first experience with Freddy Krueger wasn't the movies it was the tv series Freddy's Nightmares. That show terrified me as a child. My first Freddy movie that I watched was Freddy's Dead. Freddy Krueger, the Cryptkeeper, and Elvira helped me get over my fear of watching scary movies.

bateman bookworm

this movie doesn’t get enough credit for how horrifying it really is! The tina scene still has me shook!

Mary E Crum

Oh man...Saw this in movie theater and at the time I thought it was so scary. Genuinely terrifying 😳

M. Annytte Girard

M. Annytte Girard

The first time I ever saw this movie was also randomly on cable (thanks 90s USA Network!) and became obsessed with Freddy.

M. Annytte Girard

fell sleep again and had to go back again! you guys are a good distraction as I'm going thru shit. 🌈❤️🧡thank you and true however maybe not at 130 am😂

M. Annytte Girard

What's wrong Freddy just needs someone to love him and also get some...🤣😂

Another classic 80’s horror. Btw my chapstick supply has gone up so much since I’ve been watching you guys. You’ve got me addicted 😂

Amanda

love nancy down but when it comes to final girls and kevin mcallister-esque traps, erin from “you’re next” mops the floor with her! imo. but they both have the courage, tenacity, and determination i live for in a FG! so they’re both up there in my s tier, but erin is just so underrated.

Omggg this series may be my most beloved it's so iconic 😍 Wes Craven definitely was in his bag with this one! Loved your guy's reaction as always ❤️ I love spending my Halloween season with you guys xx

I love the score too. I have a playlist on Spotify named “Chill” that contains songs that relax me. I have the score on that list. 😄

GENERAL DISCLAIMER FOR VIEWING 80’s HORROR FILMS: If two characters are shown fckng each other, those two characters are surely gonna die. For being so wild, the 80’s could also be surprisingly puritanical in many ways. Especially in the mainstream when it came to sex, female sexual freedom without shaming, or the LGBTQ+ community. We should all thank our Freddy stars and be oh so grateful that we aren’t currently stuck in that puritanical hell hole hatred side of said 80’s. I know I sure am. I love the 🐈 way too much to make it out of there alive. 😂

Good reaction.. im a huge John Saxon fan so naturally I love the dad and i get him, im a staunch atheist so i get the skeptical part. Mom worthless, Glenn even more worthless lol. Please watch New Nightmare which imo is the best sequel.

Daniel Turbyfill

Classic. I usually treat this series as a trilogy and watch 1, 3, and Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Though I have gained a new appreciation for part 2.
