I've seen so many shit reviews but wtf, this is a solid remake!

Jayden Joshua

Should watch the Dreamcatcher by Stephen king

Jayden Joshua

Also I really really loved this movie don’t know why people like critics don’t but for me only thing I would have changed would have made Sue lived hahah

ChrisNThings

I loved it! You guys should TOTALLY do reactions to the originals! This one was GREAT though, I'm a little upset Susan couldn't be saved but... Oh well maybe there's a final man out there for Ben LOL I totally say react to the originals!

yomvanhaver

Cujo is great too. With Dee Wallace horror icon.

Lavender Violet

Mark saying, "Guess I gotta go kill Barlow." Stated very casually with an underlying current of annoyance and utter boredom is the best line of the movie! 😂 King! My favorite character.

The place that I recognize the actress who played Sue's mom is from 9-1-1. She has a recurring role as Jennifer Love Hewitt's boss on that show. If you watch 9-1-1 then that's probably where you recognizer her from. If not 🤷‍♀️.

Joshua Scott

I really loved this movie and I'm a huge fan of the book and the original. I was not disappointed. Lewis Pullman was very good in his role and very good on the eyes. Yummy man. The design of Barlow was great. Definitely a repeat watch for me.

Kyle Moore

While I had reservations, especially with the writing this was a gorgeous movie to look at. The cinematography on point.

If you’re thinking of getting a home check out the Bank of America first time homebuyer grant.

Dolores Claiborne is awesome with horror icons Kathy Bates and Jennifer Jason Leigh. And Christopher Plummer (knives out, the sound of music)

Lauren Quill

You should definitely react to the miniseries! I watched it a long time ago so I would love to rewatch it with you guys! I really liked this one, obviously they had to cut a lot out so idk if other people are just comparing it to the original and that’s why they don’t like it but I think they did a good job with it.

Lauren Quill

That’s a good one too but I can’t watch that bc I feel so bad for Dee Wallace’s character and her son but I also feel bad for the dog! lol

Kevin Moyer

Hey guys! Since i heard you guys watched "The Shining" on the channel, how about checking out Doctor Sleep? It's the next book adaption from Stephen King's "The Shining" and it's directed by Mike Flanagan, I know you guys love him so check it out if you haven't already :) Also again wanna thank you guys for all the content you guys consistently push out ♥ You guys are hardworking and i appreciate all you do xx

Petty Pumpkins

Doctor Sleep commentary coming SOON!!! Before 2024 ends ❤️ We love it!

Ae Evans

hey guys i loved it. I've seen all iterations of this, and I did like this production. In the book, the girlfriend doe does not die.

Sabrina

Having just finished the novel, I feel now is the right time to watch this reaction!

Petty Pumpkins

since you're fresh off can you tell us how you felt about it as an adaption of the book?

Sabrina

(really long comment incoming) Overall, I think it’s pretty accurate as an adaptation! The major changes were honestly improvements. They gender-swapped Dr. Cody, which I like bc the novel has no important female characters outside of Susan (who dies/turns well before the third act), and the rest are pretty unlikable and/or minor. They also changed Barlow’s appearance; he looks more like a “normal” vamp in the book, but I like the movie’s character design. The Nosferatu vibe also works since the story has a lot of similarities to the Nosferatu/Dracula story. They made an interesting change in Ben’s backstory where a car crash killed his parents; in the book, he gets into a motorcycle accident with his wife and gets out unscathed, while she dies on impact. I guess they didn’t want/didn’t have time to delve into that in the context of his and Susan’s relationship. Also, Susan’s dad isn’t dead in the novel, he actually sticks up for Ben when Susan’s mom criticizes him. I’m a little annoyed they removed a really important piece of Ben’s backstory where he went into the Marsten house as a kid, saw (or thought he saw) a hanging body upstairs, and ran away screaming. That’s like a major motivator for his return to the Lot to write his book inspired by the house, so not sure why they removed it. There were some other changes about how the end went down, but overall I liked those changes. And the cinematography and editing are really good! Mark is the MVP of the novel and I think the same can be said for the movie. He almost feels like he could be a member of the Losers’ Club. I wish they’d included the epilogue where Mark and Ben return a year later and start a fire to basically burn down the town so the vampires have nowhere to hide from sunlight.

YOU GUYS HAVE TO WATCH THE “SALEMS LOT” WITH ROB LOWE IMO ITS THE BEST REMAKE, THE FIRST ONE WAS ALSO PRETTY GOOD ❤️

Jeremy Montanez

This was so fun. I didn't think I'd like it being I hated it the first time I saw it but this time around I really enjoyed it. Please watch the original Salems lot. It's very long but very detailed and it would make a phenomenal reaction. I don't remember the Rob Lowe version but I'm a huge fan of his so I'd say watch that too. ALSO Makenzie Leigh aka Susan is soooooo beautiful. She's so Angelic.
