The cycle of violence continues in THE LAST OF US Season 2 finale. A show that teaches as much as it torments, tortures, and traumatizes. Since we went into this show blind, we have no idea where this story goes beyond this cliffhanger and we're shaken to our core 🫨❤️‍🩹🙃

Enjoy (as much as you possibly can) our reaction to: Convergence

Was not able to sleep and as always yall served up the SAME NIGHT as the finale.! You both deserve an award for most dedicated reaction channel and most generous and genuine. P.S. Is it weird it is 4am and I am eating pizza with MUSHROOMS?!🫣🍕🍄🍕🫣

As spoiler free as I can say, Season 3 will tell the events of Season 2 from Abbys perspective. So when you say you feel like you haven't gotten the whole story, you haven't! You only have half so far.

We're assuming the worst, hoping for the best and honestly ready for more Abby!!!!

Petty Pumpkins

We live to serve our petty pumpkins! You're so sweet!! Also, I (Chey) love a mushroom pizza but Wes would gag if he read this comment!!!! BUT It's never too late OR early for pizza!

You guys are on it!!! Loved watching your finale reaction, and since you asked… the answer is no to the question you asked. From playing the games I know where season 3 is headed but I really hope to see Bella a bit as well 💜

With the cast, the infected design & the SETS this show could be unstoppable. But the pacing & writing just lacks. This is a 13 episode minimum show… the short seasons are a disservice. It is all so rushed, very sloppy character development. I felt it last season too but this season it was just blatant & some of the dialogue was so odd. Even with only “half the story” it wasn’t very good. I feel like Ellie’s story doesn’t seem finished. I really wish this trend of short seasons that are not flushed out being released every 2-4 years would stop! It’s so annoying. HBO has become the WORST about it. How the mighty have fallen, I will never understand it. They need to figure out their budget to produce more episodes or get new writers. Something! It is so out of control. Not even just with this show 🙃 Sorry for the rant, but here’s to hoping season 2 & season 3 were shot simultaneously so it comes out sooner. I’m about to just give up & play the game too! I always end up spoiled anyway! lol! Love watching ANY show with you guys! 💜

You guys should react to the cut scenes from the game just as a fun new thing to compare how they did it in the game vs the show! You can react to the first part of the game (seattle day 1-3) and it won’t spoil anything ahead

So in the most NON SPOILER WAY -- Season 3 is going to cover the 3 days that Ellie was in Seattle but from Abby's POV. So remember all the things you were seeing in this episode in particular like whatever Isaac was talking about, Owen and Mel, the war seemingly going on in the background etc -- you are going to get all of those answers in Season 3. Lol

Sabrina

If y’all are gagged at the way this ended, lemme say we were all so gooped when we played the game bc at the point where this ep ends, we fully switched to Abby as a player character. Hard to describe how crazy that felt the first time playing. And Mel’s death was somehow so much more tragic in this adaptation 😭. Y’all are not ready for the answers to the story that season 3 will bring!!

Emily Carmen

Hahahahahahahahahahaha sorry to Wes.! Us mushroom pizza pals gotta stick together But I admit I pictured the clickers and I was so glad to not see any in this episode How weird no clickers though in the FINALE It was like my body knew it was safe to eat that pizza at that moment😛😋😛🍄🍕🍄😛😋😛 And yes anytime is a good time for a pizza ESPECIALLY here in NYC :-) Yall gotta let us know if you come to NY.!

I'll just say that while the show is The Last of Us, we haven't seen the last of Ellie. It might just not be for another full season. I am excited for season 3 though, I love Abby's character and I think Kaitlyn Dever has been electric every time she's appeared.

Devoleno

Grrrl whaaaaaaa? There's no way she missed that close to her.

Jazz Rivers

OMG. The scene where Ellie claps the pregnant opp happens in the game but the little bit of seasoning they put on it here made it SO much heavier.

Gloria Hernon

Yes Wes, that really happened. The showrunners will start Abby's version of Day 1, 2 & 3 Season 3. Heartbreaking last scene....💔 RIP Captain Wyoming, we loved you man.

lunasera

The good news is Abby's side of the story in Seattle is actually more interesting than Ellie's in many ways.

as someone who hasn't played the games and didn't know we were going to get a "perspective switch" for season 3, I'm a little worried. i have no idea what the wolves and scars are fighting about which made this finale feel confusing. we know we're not getting another season of this show for like 2 years, and we didn't get enough about abby this season for me to care about her and her friends (that we know are ultimately killed). i guess that's also when we'll find out the true lore about the wolves and the scars, but i don't even care about that enough to carry an entire season. i know the perspective switch is an aspect of the game, but this is a television show and i wonder if the storytelling would've made more sense if we were seeing ellie and abby's stories parallel to each other in seattle. having a little more information about the motives of abby and the wolves would've made this a better season for me. still enjoyed it, though!

Jeffrey Edwards

Remember y’all they didn’t show Dina so hopefully the gunshot was hers. Bella is in season 3 so unless she’s in flashbacks only, I don’t think she’s dead. RIP Jesse

Daniel Turbyfill

The writing for season 2 really did a disservice to Ellie making her less competent than she is in the game. She’s someone who was on the command track for FEDRA, if she had stayed in the Boston QZ remember.
