When I 1st saw this I was just so glad it actually had a happy ending, that no one died and they ended up together which was rare for queer movies at the time, and there still aren't a lot of great LGBTQ+ movies to choose from that have happy endings so I think that's why this one is still a favorite and a classic for a lot of people.

We are being spoiled this weekend! I loved revisiting this classic with you guys. So many familiar faces on the cast. The utterly campy undertone and the absolute skewering of conversion therapy is great. I only wish Hilary, Joel & Sinead had been able to escape as well. I also love that you guys presented us a great Rupaul double feature and didn't even know it going into these movies. Happy Pride, everybody!
